oops said: Why do you complain so much? Just had to post again, I think the irony of your post was over your head:oops said: ...about the who haters... Those DW complainers (whom you call 'hater') are okay? They aren't whining, they are just good people expressing themselves, unlike me?oops said: Would you like some cheese to go with that whine? So, lets break this down. When someone complains about Doctor Who, it's just their opinion. When someone (me) complains about the complaints, it's whining?oops said: but then i saw you crying... and crying? Then what is it when someone complains about someone complaining about someone complaining? If 'opinion' turns into 'whines and cries', what does it become when you add a third layer of complaint? Nuff said.

Oh, and I looked back at some of your recents posts and see a lot of whine. What kind of cheese do you pair with that kind?

oops said: Why do you complain so much? Would you like some cheese to go with that whine? I don't care for DW and wasn't going to comment, but then i saw you crying about the who haters and thought thats none of your concern and not your problem. Nuff said. Camembert please! It is not my problem, but as a member of the community it is my concern (as it is yours, which is why you will never see me suggest you or anyone else not post their opinions) If you are happy with people whining about a 50 year old show being popular, so be it. But why is their whining okay and mine forces you to comment? Oh, because you agree with them and not me. It would be okay if I was on 'your side'?nerfturbo said: Also, is it against the rules to talk about shirts from other sites? I wouldn't want to push away business, but where else can you go to talk about cool tee shirts with other tee shirt fanatics? Messaging would be a nice feature. Yeah, don't mention (promote) other sites. You can probably talk about them in general term (i.e. 'I got a great Game of Thrones shirts on another site, but it is too similar to today's')

Nuff said.oops said: Because the tone of a space IS the concern of everybody who feels like part of the community that occupies that space. If we want a good place to discuss anything in particular, such as Tee Fury designs, we as a group need to discourage (and refrain from engaging in) behavior that makes that discussion space less conducive to discussion. Because it's discouraging to read so much negativity about a fandom or franchise in the comments on a design that is beautiful and/or successful on its own merits. This particular pair of designs, for example, blended several historical and current pop culture references in an attractive design, which was itself a homage to a pop culture icon of history (the Saturday Evening Post). That's something that should be congratulated! Because it's annoying to scroll past the whining when we're trying to engage in discussion. Because we may or may not be part of the (very large!) group that is getting hated on, but that doesn't make reading the whining and disparagement any more pleasant. Because all the whining takes down the tone of the whole thread, to the point where many people avoid the comments rather than joining the community. Because any community has to be self-policing as far as setting standards for proper behavior. Because there are a lot more voices hating on Who than supporting the independent and clearly talented artist. This is not a forum about Who, it's a forum about awesome pop culture teeshirt designs. Because all that hate for Who can discourage artists from submitting additional designs, because they don't want to get hated on in the comments. ...additional designs that might be in YOUR favorite fandom.

croooow said: Could you at least bother to say something about today's designs and not just whine about Doctor Who in general? I would love for everyone to look at the comments here: http://www.teefury.com/gallery/3071/Hunters/ and see how it is possible to handle a franchise that gets tons of T-shirts with class. Why do you people care so much? It is not like you would buy shirts every day if they did not sell Doctor Who ones. You know the shirts are popular, just not with you. Why do you complain so much? Would you like some cheese to go with that whine? I don't care for DW and wasn't going to comment, but then i saw you crying about the who haters and thought thats none of your concern and not your problem. Nuff said.

Not buying shirts, but if I was, I would get both of these. The designs are eye catching and fun. The Empty Child was one of those episodes that stuck with you for awhile. I am SO tempted to get it, but, I can't wear it to my daughter's wedding, so I have to pass. I do hope it comes back. The whimsy of the Lady and K-9 just makes me smile. Congratulations on getting both sides of the battle, that way it is a win-win for all.
