I love the idea of how everything is causeing something else to react, without it it could not happen.
Also the cream/red collaboration should be printed!
I love the super mario reference. I like the design, but I don't think half the people I know would figure out what it means and probably think I'm just wearing another random art shirt. I'll sleep on it.
The side art is awesome. I would buy the Hunter shirt without question.
In love with the concept of the shirt and the art work.. going to have to sleep on it though as I'm really not sure that I need another t-shirt.. I've already got like 20 million..

Another humourless pretentious full-front print with too much going on that's supposed to make people go "oh, cool..." and think you're really trendy but you're not you just bought yet another shirt with a pretentious print with too much going on.
Come on, let's see something that's actually original.

What Super Mario reference?
seek and yee shall find. ;)
I believe it's the bullet on the left side coming out of the wall.
I can assure you there's nothing busy about this piece. It has little to no work ethic at all and has found it very hard to remain gainfully employed over the years.
Honestly, between you and me I don't see it lasting more than a day here. :P
this is just....
i like it, not really sure why, just sorta strikes me as something totally awesome
not sure if i will be able to get it though :(
enjoying the side art as well, hope to see that stuff on a shirt soon!
Reminds me of the album covers The Hard-Ons used to come up with. Not totally sure about the colour scheme though and the Slate's not a good colour for the guys' shirt.
It's so cool to see this get printed after following the process on TeeBanter! The finished design is awesome and a definite buy for me. Congrats, Omega!
Sorry, but with all due respect, I dislike it. Too much random elements and no composition, at first sight it looks like a pile of garbage (and the clouds of goo / smoke don't help). It's overloaded. Some parts would make great design for several separate tees, together it just doesn't stick. I like the Fear and Loathing sideart though, don't have to spend 15 minutes just to figure out what's going on on the picture.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to hate; but this is not a buy for me, and I'm presenting the reasons why.

so what if you have to spend 15 mins to figure out what's going on? is there some rule that every piece of art should be understood within 30 seconds? no, there's not.
and you are here to hate. there's no reason you have to "present" your reasons not to buy it. just don't buy it and don't comment. it's as simple as that. no justification needed.

yeah, it does... spot on.... it also looks very beatles 'yellow submarine' to me too, and old 'lookout records' covers/shirts too... it reminds me of lots of music related things actually which is odd because there is nothing there that makes it a music shirt, anyway it's great.. can't wait to wear it!

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking! I only have one Hard-Ons album, but the cover art has a similar drawing style as the amazing Dr. Omega has. It does remind me of old Lookout covers too, not so much Yellow Submarine though.
KHAAAAAAAN, there's much love for that Fear n Loathing pic, eh?
Honestly I didn't think much of it when I did it. It's a bit more plain than my usual work, but if you guys dig it -that- much who knows, maybe I'll sub that too.
Or you can storm the TF castle walls and DEMAND it be printed! :D
Would totally buy the Hunter S. Thompson side-art in a split second. I'm going to have to think about this one... would be an insta-buy if I hadn't bought yesterday's shirt.
This is the first Arty TBird Tee I've purchased. I tend to go Teevil all the way :P
But I did see this a while ago when it was in development and thought it looked AWESOME. So had to get it now it's available. I love this style of art.
Really awesome design - great use of colours and the detail is amazing! Reminiscent of the style of work that Mambo features on their clothing here in Australia! Looking forward to see what other awesome designs of yours get chosen! Congrats!

I'm sorry Matt, I think you are pretty cool, but your argument is totally wrong, but is seen frequently on tee sites. One doesn't have to be an artist to have an opinion on art. He stated his opinion and is entitled to it.
Now I think this shirt is cool and I would have bought it for sure if it wasn't on slate. I do not like that color at all.

Why is it "pretentious"?
Why is it "suppose to make people go 'oh, cool...' and think you're really trendy?"
Why is there "too much going on"?
You figured it out in 15 minutes? That's interesting because I think the is no figuring it out. You can't separate it... you can get lost in it. I just want to say my son is so cute.
MollyStevens said: You figured it out in 15 minutes? That's interesting because I think the is no figuring it out. You can't separate it... you can get lost in it. I just want to say my son is so cute.
It's true. Even I don't know what the hell it means.
Tell us about this design: Well first off let me just thank everybody that supported this piece, put up all kinds of great comments, and said how much they wanted to own it on a shirt whenever I posted it on various forums around the 'net, and to TeeFury itself for giving me my first print on only the second piece I've ever submitted to a site. When I got the e-mail from Jimiyo telling me I was in there was many a celebratory fist-pump and pelvic thrust done in front of the mirror that day.
With that out of the way, the concept for this design is all about fate and how the characters and/or elements involved are either about to meet theirs or are somehow involved in pushing another towards their own. Wether that be the storm on the horizon, the slug slowly crawling it's way towards the end of a withering tree branch, the disembodied hands pulling levers and pushing buttons to set things into motion, or the bird whose wing is weighed down by a pocket watch that slowly ticks away the seconds till everything meets it's inevitable conclusion. But, it doesn't matter exactly when it happens. Even if you're ahead of schedule, you'll still be right on time. I don't want to give too much more of it away though, I'd like the viewer to try and figure out each individual little story on their own, but yeah, that's the general idea.
Where are you located? Illadelph
What's a day in the life of Bender like? Part awesome, part amazing. It's too hard to describe in words though, and the only thing that would do it justice is a mixture of interpretive dance and a series of obscene hand gestures.
Do you own alot of shirts? It's funny, I really don't. I have the artists' curse and it tends to make me kind of picky when it comes to things like that. Right now I only own about 4-5 shirts I like, and wear, my favorite being Alex Solis' Original B-Boy. I'm eagerly awaiting something I just ordered from Brass Tack too though.
How did you find Teefury? With a stolen treasure map.
If you could go only to one restaurant for the next five years, which would it be? Jack Rabbit Slim's
Have you ever had to get stitches? Any battle scars? I do, actually. My lip got split in half when I was a kid, and there's still a really deep gash there to this day. It's pretty cool, I like it.
What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? Was there a specific title you liked most of all? When I was a kid it was always cartoons. I was always a fan of Looney Toons, but I have to say that Ren N Stimpy had more of an effect on me than any other thing I've ever seen on TV.
Tell us about your favorite food. Crabs. I love eating crabs. There's just something about tearing another animal apart with my bare hands and devouring it that's seems so incredibly satisfying to me. :)
If you could own an exotic animal as a pet, what kind would you have, and what would you name it? Some kind of giant half-shark half-alligator half-octopus that I could ride, and I would probably name him WTF?! with 17 thousand exclamation points and question marks.
MAC or PC? Idealy I would have a MAC for work and a PC for lols. Though I only have a PC right now... which should give you a little insight into what my priorities are.
Any shout outs? Yeah, everybody over at TeeBanter.com that supported the heck out of this piece by putting up with my incessant spamming of updates while it was still a work in progress, and the numerous times I told them it was finished then turned around and made about 90 more revisions and posted them instead. :)
