Ah Chad Lonius, he's an Original! A Professional! It's always a pleasure  to print his work since his designs sell so much.  One week, we should just do Chad week, so we at Teefury can get our Ferraris and Lambos. You don't have to be a beefy MMA fighter to enjoy and rock this design, it's only when the design is plastered all over the shoulders that you have to actually have muscles. Get sum dat!

Tell us about this design, I demand to be informed!

This design is a composite of a lot of client rejects, leftovers and a mish mash of elements. I guess you can say it is the resurrection of all the frustration and angst I have experienced when I get into the creative zone and create something that I think is rockin’ only to be told it is not what the client is looking for. So like the phoenix from the ashes of rejection, I give you “Nefarious”!

Tell us about The Great and Honorable Chad Lonius!

I live in Oklahoma City. I have a day job as a marketer/graphic artist for an online business and do apparel design work in my cave late at night. I am married with a truck load of kids. If you need a reason to buy a shirt, think of it as “Feeding the Keith’s Foundation” and know that your money is going to be well spent, like funnel cakes at hockey games or “BLING” plastic jewelry at El Chico.

Tell us about the most awesome experience you have ever had.

I could just wimp out and say that the most awesome experience I have ever had was when my kids were born but an experience I had most recently was when I bought tickets to see Coldplay in San Antonio this coming June for my wife’s birthday present. She loves Coldplay and giving something that makes someone you love happy is an awesome experience.

Who are the artists that have influenced you? Why do you like their style?

I believe artists absorb influence from other artist’s works by just simply being exposed to it. The internet is so flippin awesome because we can experience other artist’s works from around the world and in every kind of medium at any given moment with a few keystrokes. I can’t really pinpoint a few artists that have influenced me without doing injustice to all the artists I have viewed online.

Do you own alot of shirts?

I own 1 shirt. My kids and wife have the rest.
