I love the 10th, but he would make a horrible Mario. Those eyebrows do NOT carry over well into animation. That, and I think the bow-tie really pulls this whole piece together quite nicely.

I actually just requested a Doctor Who + Mario Bros. mash up yesterday, so this was a cool surprise. But I'm disappointed in the mostly pale colour palette. I would buy this design if it were a sticker or a notebook cover; it's just not working for me as a tee.

Almost bought this on the spot until I realized it was 11 and not 10. Not that I have a problem with him, but the angels started with 10, and Blink is my favorite episode ever. That fact would niggle me too hard while I wore this.

I stopped buying t-shirts anywhere else once I started buying them on Teefury. Every other retailer on the internet seems to think women's shirts should go about as far down as the belly-button, but teefury shirts are LONG, comfortable, and good quality. The prints last a lot longer than most of my other internet shirts, too.. I don't know what screening technique they use, but the designs don't fade. Highly recommended.

to defend the use of 11:

even though we learned about the angels in Blink, 10 only gave us exposition about them while Sally and Larry death with them. it wasn't until 11 that the Doctor was face to face with an angel.

Just wanted to say that I disagree with everybody saying that Ten should have been the Doctor in here; a pinstriped suit and brown trenchcoat with a tie and converse really doesn't scream 'Mario' to me. Eleven's outfit and personality fit much better to the quirky atmosphere of the Mario games.

I think the artist made a good choice in incarnation, especially out of the three in the new series.

While the Weeping Angels were first encountered by the 10th Doctor (David Tennant) in season 3, the 11th Doctor (Matt Smith) also squared off against the Weeping Angels in a two episode story in season 5. Both were fantastic episodes.
