Tell us a bit about this design.
I started off intending to draw a bit of an ode to the turtles if you will that was going to have a lot more elements but as I sketched the design just sort of came about and turned into a spoof shirt. I had to go with the traditional Italian colours after that and make it look like something the waiters would wear at that restaurant as a uniform. The date refers to the first comic release.
Where are you from?
I am originally from Cornwall in England, but I currently live in Santa Cruz, Bolivia with my wife in our freshly bought home.

I had a She-ra toy but I wouldn't have felt right if He-man was fighting Hordak and she wasn't there.

What kind of art did you make as a kid?
I actually used to draw the turtles a lot. I was a fan of felt tip pens and would copy pictures from comics and top trump cards and spend hours colouring them with the pen stroke in the same direction all the time.

What is your favorite thing about turtles?
Turtles have been on the earth for more than 200 million years. If you ask me that is a pretty perfect design. No wonder they make good ninjas.

The ninja is like a good fart, silent but violent. The Samurai have a battle cry which lets them down because you can hear them coming.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
My favourite shirt is an old band shirt for 'The Jealous Sound.' I've had it so long that now it just has that lovely comfy feel when you put it on. My favourite recent t-shirt is 'Lucas' designed by Matthew Skiff for Eight-bit Zombie but it has sold out now people.

Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Anyone that knows me, know that I am a serious retro movies buff. Ferris Bueller, Gremlins, Lost boys, Goonies and Karate Kid are all up there but Stand by me is definitely my favourite movie. I have it on VHS, DVD and the soundtrack.
What inspires your work?
Cheese sandwiches after 11pm are a big help. I usually wake up after some weird dreams with ideas for new designs.

Design is a little bland for my taste and ooze colored pizza doesn't really do it for me either. I love the style but the design and colors is just a little too generic for me to live it.
The gremlin boys are exceptionally done however and you have an awesome style happening. Hope to see more of your designs.
