When I travel the world I like to learn as much of the language as I can locally. When I travel, I always try to see the art museum first. I enjoy building things, from computers to flat-pack furniture to picture frames from scratch. I paint. Landscapes & Abstract Expressionist canvases. Numerous walls. I enjoy rebuilding the workflow of multi-user production systems. I design furniture in my free time. I enjoy a nice bottle of wine. I like reducing a mediocre bottle of wine into a nice sauce. Both, then, reach their greatest potential. I take pictures of my family whenever I can. I am mostly a dodging blur in my families photos. When something new needs to be done, I choose to learn as much about that singular topic as possible. Should it lead me to relevant supporting topics, I learn about those, too. I am pretty good at Jeopardy! on weeknights. I am very good at Jeopardy! on reruns. Yes, I have a tool for that. No, that’s not what you are looking for. I would get Lasik if I didn’t like shopping for glasses. I use an Apple. I was never a hipster, even before it was a term. The things I like, I have always liked – and never ironically. I use a PC. I can change the breakers in a live circuit panel. I can plumb and run electric in existing structures. I used MS Paint as my editing software for a semester. I have run Linux in command line – I respect those that do it for a living. I have given up the race and have begun training my next generation. I have devoted myself to passing on my knowledge while never giving up its quest. Yes, I can help you with that.
