Pres. Harry Truman once commented on his nickname: "I don't give people hell, I tell them the truth and they think it is hell". That's pretty much me in a nutshell. I was born in the 60s, grew up in the 70s. I was a professional graphic artist for years, but got sick of pandering to management's lack of vision. I appreciate the cleverness and layout of a design as much as I do the artwork itself. My loves are 60s and 70s retro, Steampunk, Half life, Skyrim, Fallout 3, sci fi movies (Alien, The Thing, Bladerunner), the colors "sky blue" "tan" and "orange" together, avocado green leather couches, Yngwie Malmsteen, dark rum (not spiced), brunettes, and the first drag off a cigarette. My hates: liars, divisiveness, socialism, participation trophies, the Occupy movement, Hippies, people who claim to be "atheists" but turn recycling and animal rights into a religion, hipsters, trendy pseudo-intellectuals and self entitled "bros", people that hang out in coffee shops (buy your coffee, drink it, and move the "F" out), the trendiness of loving things like Doctor Who specifically because they suck and are low budget, businessmen who buy 25,000 dollar Harleys and pretend to be "outlaw" bikers but never even turn a wrench or change their own oil, the smell of Jasmine, gun control idiots, bicyclers and joggers who don't stay inside the little lane that my taxes pays for, fake neo-science and revisionist history, people who drive exactly the speed limit in the passing lane, Prius owners, white people who roll the "r" when they say words like "Nicaragua", dogs who don't come when they're called, kids that don't come when they're called, and running out of beer.
