    Awesome concept! Definite buy!
  • Kontempt said 249 weeks ago

Hmmm, at least it's not overtly Halloweenish...
    Don't know if it's a buy though.

Yay for my first post on this site since joining! Hi all! Anyway, I'm really enjoying the colors in this design. I'm a big fan of green anyway so I'm attracted to it just based on the color. XD but I do like the take on what's a very classic picture. I wiiiiish I could have gotten the robot with the butterfly though, that shirt is just...me.

Are the zombies raising their zombie flag, or tearing down a random flag for fun?
  • BlackToothpaste said 249 weeks ago

Awesome shirt, I love the 2nd design from the bottom too!
  • rockasaurus said 249 weeks ago

i like it, zombies are a year-round kind of thing.

Very poor taste to make a parody of IwoGima.

It's not like it's the only one -_- There's a version of a group of Punk Rock kids raising an Anarchy Flag which I'm sure would be more offensive than something fictional...

Reminds me of COD4, not just because of the colors and military reference, but also the NAZI ZOMBIES!! I guess in this battle the zombies won.
  • strangegreenquark said 249 weeks ago

    I agree. Very poor taste.

"What better way to celebrate an unforgettable and undying image than to use the undead to keep it alive!"

    Uh huh...

Anyway, I really like the t-shirt and the mix between zombies and an important event in American history is nice to see.

Without being told so, I would not be have known they were zombies. And I agree with Emily47, especially since others will not necessarily know they were zombies also.

    Zombies!!
  • GingerbreadDon said 249 weeks ago

that spider down on the right is badass
  • wl552 said 249 weeks ago

I love the colors on this one, but the actual design isn't my cup of tea.

However, where can I find the blue kitten moon shirt? And my boys would love the steampunk spider.
  • AudaciTy said 249 weeks ago

    DarkDragon -- you mean COD5? ;)

Really like that spider and the one below it on the side.
  • happytuna said 249 weeks ago

You'd have to really look at it to see that it's zombies.. but I LOOOVE zombies, so I'm thinking about it!

Love the t-shirt, awesome design. But everyone should also check out Charaspower's portfolio. He has a bunch of really sweet shirt designs.

Very well done, I love your style! The line work is solid, and the texture of the background gives the image great depth.

However, I too am feeling like the IwoJima thing is reasonably disrespectful :/ I get where you're coming from but I'm def not the kinda girl to be ok with the imagery used in this context, more like the kind to be found sitting in peace at a memorial, taking photos or just kinda meditating...

many kudos on the sidework tho
