    SCIENCE!

Thanks for having us Teevil :)

Last time the We Are Star Stuff was offered (maybe at another site?), I ordered three... one for myself, one for my husband and one for our 8 yr old. They were huge hits! Awesome graphics and terrific way to honor Neil & Carl. Such an amazing series!

So already owning Star Stuff, I ordered the Cosmos NASA logo shirt. My father was a NASA engineer before he passed away and I am Neil Armstrong's 3rd cousin, so it's kinda in our blood! ;)

    Thanks TeeFury!

He's Neil Degrasse Tyson, and awesome astrophysicist and the host of the show Cosmos.

You know, the designs are great, but do people really wear Lego shirts that often? I like Legos, I just don't see the popularity of them that much in public, mostly on shirts. Maybe it is where I live, I don't have the slightest clue. Overall awesome designs though, props to both shirts.

It's not like we have a Cosmos shirt every week.
    :-)

Everything has a fan base. So yes, they do. I think it's awesome that there is a shirt with Legos and these fine gentlemen.

Realize what you are looking at before you put your foot in mouth, that movie has nothing to do with this shirt besides the uh black guy white guy thing. Hahahaha please buy this shirt.

What's funny is that NDG is looked at as a clown in the astrophysicist world, generally not taken seriously and oft panned.

COSMOS x2! I love both! But I will have to settle for just one...Carl & Neil! (Too bad both didn't work on royal blue!)

LEGO, awesome! Those that don't love the toys, often don't understand. (But yay for LEGO fans!)

COSMOS, also brilliant because most things "science" make me smile! Carl Sagan and Neil deGrasse Tyson (and Jacques Cousteau and Bill Nye and Alton Brown...look them up on IMDb), are teaching the world about science, and that is a great and valuable gift that they didn't have to give. Thanks to all the great teachers!

    that's complete bulls***
astrophysics isn't some club full of children
he does a great deal of good for the sciences as a whole by inspiring young minds and bringing positive public attention to the field. That alone makes him a huge asset to the scientific community.

I'm not sure who told you Tyson shouldn't be taken seriously, but they're definitely no physicist.

There is no pleasing everyone. Someone will always complain.

And if you look at Bond1217's recents comments, he thinks Doctor Who is printed too often. I wonder what the "correct" amount would be...

Right amour of shirts For Who? No more often then any other shirt, so less than once a month. They have done so many they should just stop forever, it's ridiculous.

Lol, what on earth have you the impression that scientists aren't a group of children?? They just have cooler toys! :D
Sorry but being a kids tv presenter doesn't make you a respected member of the scientific (or any other) community.

Lol Tea Party?!?!?! Wow what an ASSumption that is. I'm a liberal if anything but not very political, and I love science I believe in Big Bang, Evolution and all that. Just think Cosmos shirt is just plain silly
  • travisf50 said 6 weeks ago

Once again another pair of shirts that I have zero interest in. Props to the artists though. I am actually surprised it isn't a Dr. Who (cares) or more stupid Frozen shirts. It's as if this site only caters to the 21 and younger crowd anymore. Occasionally something cool like the Hoth shirts will show up or Godzilla, video games or god forbid Marvel. But instead we are generally stuck with this other boring fare. FYI: Dr. Who is awful in my opinion. There are more fans of other nerds stuff than that mindless English smurf. Get it together tee fury.

I LOVE Cosmos. I have eatched every single episode. I wish the "We Are Star Stuff" wasn't Lego because I'm really not a fan of that. Otherwise I would be buying that one also. I am definitely snagging a Cosmos Nasa logo. So excited.

This response is perfect. NDT brings science to people that otherwise wouldn't care or take the time to learn any of it. I've never met anyone with a basic understanding or interest in science that doesn't take him seriously.
