I would've got this if they were carrying a LEGO droid, like C3P0. Just doesn't seem quite right to me otherwise.

    Great idea though!

there are a bunch of different versions of this design out there... one including a lego droid being carted off.. not a very original design

The area around the Jawa's eyes would then have to be a separate color (You can only use 6)

I am always looking for LEGO shirts (I'm an AFOL and a fan of Star Wars) but I felt the same way about this design.

I would add that the LEGO Minifigure parts are way too big, or the LEGO bricks are too small.
    miR6ldf9XN23agvdS-r22wg.jpg
The studs on the bricks are the same size as the studs on the top of their heads (so instead of LEGO hair or a hat you could just stick a plain LEGO brick or tile on top of the heads, and stick the heads to the tops of bricks or tiles)

The "hands" form a stud as well, so they can "hold" bricks and tiles:
    670px-Make-LEGO-People-Hold-LEGO-Bricks%2C-Not-Items-Step-3.jpg

The beauty of LEGO is that the pieces can interact in a number of ways (At least the more classic parts do. LEGO does seem to come out with a lot of specialty pieces recently that only work in one specific way with a limited range of LEGO elements, so it sometimes requires a "middleman" to connect to a lot of other parts)

The design color restrictions really stand out on something like this. It looks great on black but other colors looks washed out and cheap.

Wow... Elitist much? It's a tee shirt, not a scale model of a fictional character, carrying toys...

I think it's a well done design for a shirt. Good stuff!

Wow, you created an account today just to call me an "elitist" because I commented on a pretty big issue with scale and proportion in this design? Those are pretty important in any design, not just LEGO and not just T-Shirts. I am not saying it has to be perfect, I am saying it is WAY off.

Elitism is generally a concept of class determination in regards to society and wealth. Am I an "aristocratic" because I thought the shirt design could have been better? No, I just had some criticism and backed it up with examples. I did not trash the design. I do like the concept and any chance to see a LEGO shirt I am happy.

This is a comments sections where people have been invited to comment on the design, I have done this. If you disagree that is great. If you like the design, no questions asked, that is great as well. Congrats!

If you think I shouldn't say anything unless it is positive, sorry. I agree with the other member who said the design would be better with LEGO Star Wars droid parts (Star Wars is the first/oldest LEGO license out there, 15 years and still going. They belong together!)

I will say I do like the designs of the Jawas, they have a lot of character! But to have them carry what looks like two different scales of LEGO really takes me out of the whole concept. If this is, as you said, a design of Jawas carrying toys, then you have just added another issue with scale: the bricks and Minifigures are all way too big in relation to the Jawas whose hands would be about the size of the child's in my second image holding Batman. Now the bricks are too big and the Minifigures are WAY too big.

    Egalitarianist much?

It's bugging me that the bricks are out of scale with the minifig parts. I know, I know.

I agree with your criticism. My first thought when looking at it was that the bricks were too small compared to the minifig parts. It bugs me enough to prevent me from buying the shirt for my son. It's a flaw in the art, like changing the hair color of a famous character or something.

Also, not sure why an "angry" Jawa on the left.

I enjoy the design but I might hold off on buying for a while. I feel like the quality of the actual shirts has gone down. My older navy shirts from teefury fit great and are comfortable. I am wearing my new Nightfury shirt today and I find I have been tugging on the sleeves and the chest all day. The newer navy shirts that they have been using have like no room in the shoulders and chest and the next size up is way too big in the midsection.

Nothing to do with the shirt of the day. Althoug it is pretty awesome. I just got my toothless shirt in the mail and ordered an XL well its a large, it is way to small but on the shirt it says XL. I comapred it to your other shirts I have and this one is way smaller. Did you guys change the shirt? i feel as if your quality has gone down. I even followed your sizing chart. Very upset and dissapointed tee fury.

I fully agree with you just got my night fury shirt today as well and it was supposed to be an XL, i bought them in XL before and this one is soo tiny, I can barely wear it! so dissapointing.
