You know, this is — excuse me — a damn fine cup of coffee! … Now, I'd like two eggs, over hard. I know, don't tell me; it's hard on the arteries, but old habits die hard — just about as hard as I want those eggs. Bacon, super-crispy. Almost burned. Cremated. That's great. And, I'll have the grapefruit juice, just as long as those grapefruits … are freshly squeezed.

I love Twin Peaks and drinks as much coffee as Coop, but the Starbucks logo treatment means all the dumb ppl will think I'm wearing a Starbucks shirt. Bad choice of mixed metaphor. Going to pass.

So you will only wear/not wear a shirt based on others perceptions of it and not whether you like it or not? Poor form. No need to worry about what others think whatsoever.

What bothers you more, the livable wage they pay their employees, or the ethical practices they use to buy their coffee? Because I know, that really "sux."

i honestly don't know what people's deal is with starbucks. you guys think its a place where only dumb hipsters hang out and instagram their frappuccinos. well, i work at a starbucks in seattle, and there are only a handful of hipsters that come in most days. most are middle aged or elderly. and if you think its such a horrible company because its huge and you need to 'stick it to the man', you're obviously an imbecile. unlike most companies, the workers get full benefits whether they're full time or not, a 401k, stock in the company, free drinks while we work, discounts, and we get to take home a pound of coffee every week for free. to top it all off, they do have some damn fine coffee, and im proud to say that i can make a person's day just by making them a drink how they like. just because some "dumb" people have an obsession with starbucks, does not mean the company is dumb.
    end rant.

I need to figure out the color shirt I want. I so miss Twin Peaks. I am thinking Dark Chocolate.
  • Sgagnot said 28 weeks ago

Great design. Part of its charm is that it will surprise people, who will have to look at it twice, when they realize that it isn't a Starbucks t-shirt. Good job

Hi, it's really good to know that Starbucks look after their staff that well, as I know a lot American companies really don't, but I have to say that the reason I hate Starbucks so much is that they make truly, truly awful coffee. I find all American coffee horrible, weak, undrinkable stuff, but here in England all the other coffee shops make theirs much nicer and stronger, but Starbucks is still almost as bad in England as it is in America. I absolutely love coffee and drink it every day, but if the only coffee shop I can find is a Starbucks I just won't buy a coffee. And when I was in America last month the only coffee shops I could find anywhere were Starbucks! Obviously every other dinner and restaurant did coffee, but I just wanted a takeaway coffee, not food.
So I hate Starbucks pretty much just for the coffee.
But also here in England I hate them for being so popular with people who couldn't actually tell a bad cup of coffee from a good one but just go there and make the shop popular because they're told it's good and they're brainless sheep and like whatever they're told is good or fashionable.

    Rant over.

Oh, and I love this t-shirt's reference. Really, really do. But I refuse to walk around with a Starbucks logo on my top. I wouldn't walk around with any large corporation's logo on my top, even one who's products I like or buy.

Sorry, but that's nonsense. Absolutely every aspect of fashion in every way, whether it's following the latest trends or wearing bizarre and weird things is choice we make about how we want to portray ourselves. And that is about how we want to portray ourselves to others.
Otherwise we'd all wear plain, completely practical clothing, shave our heads and wear no jewellery of any kind. Because it wouldn't matter.

THIS is why people DON'T like Starbucks! Everyone, including the employees, think it's the best place ever and everyone should bow down to it's greatness. It is the hipster of all businesses.

Sorry but that's nonsense. If you wear something simply to worry about what others think of you, your self confidence is shot. It is indeed about portraying oneself, but to not wear something that you like due to worrying that others might not like the 'you' that you're portraying, just shows you need to stop being so superficial and worrying about others opinions. I wear what I like because I like it, and not to get approval/disapproval from anyone else.

Thanks for reinforcing my opinion while trying to discredit it, good job (y)

I personally don't have a problem with them except on hearing that they wouldn't donate coffee to our soldiers overseas. Other then that they do have great coffee and I once and awhile when I'm in Portland (Maine) where there is one have some. I've said it a few times that if a company supports their employees I have no problem paying a little more for an item (Take note Walmart)

I agree with you man. I think that Starbucks can have a lot of nice sorts of coffee, but when it comes to black coffee it's just not good. I use to drink at Dunkin Donuts, but still, any 7 11 has brazilian or colombian coffee, these are precious.
I bow down to the Starbucks Chocolate Muffin though.
