Pretty cool, I must say. A nice take on an old idea... especially for a math class doodle.

Great job, especially for such a young designer. The stuff on the right shows some real creativity and a very bright future. Awesome!!
  • digitalnicotine said 290 weeks ago

Congrats, Isaac. What a fun design!
  • gravionGR said 290 weeks ago

Wow TeeFury is really on a roll here. I can't beleive so many good shirts for so many days in a row.

Another excellent design. The use of subtle color shifts is quite striking.

Great design! Glad someone knows how to use their math class productively. Way to go, fellow Minnesotan.

One of the oldest optical illusions in the book: Not saying it's a poor design, just noting that the figure is certainly not new.

"The Penrose triangle, also known as the tribar, is an impossible object. It was first created by the Swedish artist Oscar Reutersvd in 1934. The mathematician Roger Penrose independently devised and popularised it in the 1950s, describing it as "impossibility in its purest form". It is featured prominently in the works of artist M. C. Escher, whose earlier depictions of impossible objects partly inspired it.

The tribar appears to be a solid object, made of three straight beams of square cross-section which meet pairwise at right angles at the vertices of the triangle they form."

Great job. It's a simple and classic design but it works.
I really like your other work, the hourglass and the eye.
  • deadhippo said 290 weeks ago

What a coincidence! I just posted about Penrose Triangle t-shirts on my blog a few hours ago.

As another fellow Minnesotan I congratulate you on your win. I saw this when it was up at Uneetee and thought it was a pretty swell design.
  • kiran11 said 290 weeks ago

  • MDreamr4 said 290 weeks ago

This looks great, I remember seeing it on the forums a while back, congrats on the tee!

and i *love* the hourglass in the sidebar, that's sweet.
  • Jestik said 290 weeks ago

I like the illusion, but the shirts not for me.
  • charlie325 said 290 weeks ago

it's a common design especially in churches. not original, but it looks nice.
  • cardinalgoldstein said 290 weeks ago

Nicely done, but it kinda looks like something a superhero would be wearing. "Look, it's Triangle Man to the rescue!"
  • hammer14 said 290 weeks ago

"it's a common design especially in churches. not original...."

what church would you be referring to?

    nice design.
