Timely. But not by the time we get the shirt.

"timely, but not by the time we get the shirt"

go fedex shipping via ground and you'll get the tee by wed. ;) This is a timeless design which one can wear at anytime, you can wear it to the voting booth, or even to your next family reunion ;)

Nice color, nice design. Even after the reference wears off, it will still make a fine weekend and drinking shirt.

"too bad they know more about joe the plumber in two days then they have bothered to find on obama in over a year huh."

Wait, what? How about Rezko, the present votes, Bill Ayers, ACORN, charges of inexperience, charges of extreme liberalism, Jeremiah Wright . . . there has been PLENTY of digging. None of it has stuck. Draw your own conclusions about why.

"dont beleive everything msnbc or fox tells you bro, it isnt healthy"

    listen to your own advice.

Then go look up everything about McCain and the Keating five. Personally in this economic climate I think those sort of (close, very personal) associations are far more important than the extremely casual ties that Obama has to anything or anyone people have been trying to tar his reputation with.

    Jeesh.

indievik: The classic approach for Limbaugh and his ilk is to blame the media when their candidate isn't doing well. It's all part of the talking points. If you've ever seen a Daily Show video montage, you know that Republicans all always say the same things about the same issues.

Ugh, politics. Looks like there are going to be some heated debates here...

Same here. Does it really matter if he's licensed or not ? Really? To point it out is to join in the attempt to drag Joe through the mud.

Totally ruins the joke for me. :/

Nula: Don't bother us with the facts! Just innuendo, half-truths, and lies, please!

    awesome, pure awesomeness
  • Rsorensen41 said 287 weeks ago

my favorite part about the shirt is that it has sparked political debate on a website like this. if we're going to debate about something poignant, let's talk about something more along the lines of the best song of the 1980s...but seriously, nice shirt.
  • Arrow said 287 weeks ago

For sure not the only thing I remember from last night but how could you forget the 20 times McCain mentioned him. haha!

From the new york times - see link above

"Thomas Joseph, the business manager of Local 50 of the United Association of Plumbers, Steamfitters and Service Mechanics, based in Toledo, said Thursday that Mr. Wurzelbacher had never held a plumbers license, which is required in Toledo and several surrounding municipalities. He also never completed an apprenticeship and does not belong to the plumbers union, which has endorsed Mr. Obama. On Thursday, he acknowledged that he does plumbing work even though he does not have a license."
  • derekfilley said 287 weeks ago

    Wow, that was fast.
  • kingme said 287 weeks ago

Wow. way to see the bigger picture. good job.

I am admittedly very happy that within 24 hours, the only talking point McCain bothered with all night became a punchline. Which I suppose is fair, since that's how long it took his VP choice to become a punchline.

As for the political aspect and potential arguments, I generally insist people check out factcheck.org whenever possible regarding political nonsense. They're probably the most unbiased source I've seen around, unless you're irrational and can't grasp sourced factchecking.
