Gary King (played by Simon Pegg), protagonist from The World's End. Good film, last of the trilogy. He's out to finish the pub crawl he started twenty years ago, so he needs to get the old gang back together. He dresses like this in his 40s...



...which is how he dressed in 1990 too.

The t-shirt he's wearing is one from a band called The Sisters Of Mercy. Their logo is a figure intersecting a five-pointed star, the font is always Caslon Antique (the same font used for the 1980s reboot of The Twilight Zone, the covers of the books in A Series of Unfortunate Events, and for the musicals Les Misérables and Monty Python's Spamalot) and looks like this.



Gary's look is inspired by the lead singer of the band. Black coat with collar turned up. Black shirt. Silver jewelry. Dark hair. Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses. Classic goth.



So with all those things as inspiration...
