I'm trying to capture an "ugly duckling" vibe with the bubble bobble dude as the ugly duck. Is it good enough to submit, can it be improved, or should I just move on. Thanks for looking!

NinjaStart43 weeks agoI think the idea is solid. My only thought would be to make all of the yoshis green so when you go down the line you can see the resemblance between them. Also, you'll get some more colors to work with and possibly add some shading. Though I'm not entirely sure if you would be able to make Yoshi's saddle and spikes red, that might be copyright infringement. Maybe you could choose a different shirt color? It looks kind of bland right now, maybe a darker green?
