hey man, i really like where this is going. I especially like the diamond and the pieces breaking off, I think the colors you chose for the diamond work really nice on that yellow background. I would suggest reworking the tentacles, all of them seem a bit misshapen and bumpy. Also, the one on the left seems stiff to me. having it shown on the shirt, I think you can make the tentacles work better within the bounds that the shirt creates, meaning i dont necessarily think this design would look best running on to the back.
That being said, I like where this is going, if you have time, please critique mine.

I had slime things there first, but it looked dumb, so i tried to change it afterwards, and this is what happened lol.
Maybe i'll work on it some more. idk if its worth it tho XD.
Pretty neat concept. I keep seeing diamonds all over art these days, I suppose they are rather beautiful ;D I like the fact that this particular diamond is harboring a tentacle monster! The break in the diamond in the bottom right looks a bit off to me, I think maybe it's caused by that little lip at the bottom of it. The tentacles, as mentioned... do need a little work. I think this is due to you drawing lines, instead of suckers, like on a real tentacle.
Some of the lines look a bit rushed... let me see if I can try to describe these or if I should just make a picture. The big chunk on the top right, the left middle part of it, on the curve, gets a bit fat. The line at the bottom of the bottom right tentacle, looks kinda rushed. And two of the lines on the chunk on the top left, the biggest one once again, has two lines both around the middle piece, look a bit flash. I use flash all the time and am a bit OCD so I try to clean up things like this, most people might not even notice though heh.
Another thing, is the 'shading' on the indentation on the diamond in the front middle, looks a bit unnatural.. but I don't draw diamonds, so I can't really offer pointers on that.
As for it being on the shirt, I think you should know that printing around the borders like that is difficult, and requires printing the design on it before the shirt is cut and stitched together, you probably need to center it more so it doesn't wrap around like that. Looks good on both the yellow and the grey though.
Keep playing with it, hopefully I pointed out a couple things to keep you busy ;D

Haha, i didnt know wrap around printing was so hard, I'll have to fix that.
Also, if you only print on the front half of the shirt it wraps slightly because part of the front half actually ends up on your side. (If that makes any sense. If not I can explain further.
