In a creating a design is it ok to use a gradient style of shading?
Also if I use two different shades of red on a design does that count as two different colors or or just one sense they are both reds?
Please help.

hartmasl44 weeks agoIs there any difference when it come to the amount of color options using gradient scale instead of just two different shades (a lighter or darker version of the base color) of a color? -
the50ftsnail44 weeks agoHey there, everything I've read on here leads me to believe that gradients are out when it comes to designs. However, a lot of the designers around here seem to favour halftones as a way of giving the impression of a gradient, although it all depends on your design and your ability to execute them effectively. -
