Does anybody know of a plug-in that would allow you to make folders in your layers (like in Photoshop)
I tend to work in a lot of layers in illustrator - some of my work is for die-cut books - so each spread consists of multiple layers. It'd be nice to be able to drop those layers into a folder for each spread.
Is there already a way to do that in Illustrator (cs2)?
c'mon teefury brainiacs!

jecrt171 weeks agoI don't think it's possible - I've been to a bajillion plugin sites and haven't found anything close. It doesn't make sense - it seems like it'd be a somewhat easy feature to port over from photoshop? -
jecrt171 weeks agookay - so, I'm an idiot. I guess I've never really explored sublayers. They just seemed to messy. It does work jut like folders - I guess I just ned the visual separation of the little folder icon. -
Aegis169 weeks agoYeah, all you need to do to organize folder-style is to drag a layer onto another layer; the layers will then be nested.
