Just wondering if people have had any luck trading shirts from grab bags. Or if I get one I don't like am I better off not trying and using it as a gift?
Lots of people do, yeah. Hardest is when you wear an "unpopular" size - I managed to buy a few tees off other people after the last grab bag, but as a wearer of Women's Medium it was a bastard finding people who had what I wanted, wanted what I had, and wore the same size. ;) However, getting my fiancé's Men's Large shirts traded was a doddle!
I wear a Men's Large and i got 3 shirts i didnt like from the last grab bag. Hated all 3. No one wanted to trade with me, because no one else was interested in the shirts either. I finally was able to trade 2 of them for shirts that were no too much better, but i was desperate to get rid of the ones i had. After shipping the shirts, i have put over $30 in to teefury shirts and still have never worn one.
I think it depends on how popular the design is that you get. You could try trading and see if anyone bites. I still have a shirt i got to trade too.
Hiratha-- I've been wondering what the "popular" sizes are, I'm sorry to hear Women's Med isn't one of them because that's what I wear, lol. But maybe we'll be able to trade with each other this time. :)
I've traded of 15 shirts myself. All XXL. I guess there's something to be said about the obesity epidemic. LOL
I've never had an issue with a trade not panning out.
One thing I'll do, is if a person really wants a shirt but has nothing I am interested in, is I will let the person order me a daily shirt. That way they can forward me the Order Confirmation, and I send out the shirt the same day. This way everybody is happy. We both get shirts we really want.

That's a really cool idea! I'll have to keep that in mind when trading. :)
I have made a vow to only buy grab bags for the past year and I have not been disappointed with any so far. Even If I do not get one I want, I am able to either trade for one that I like, make a three or four way trade to get one I want, or trade for just a little bit more popular one so I can possibly trade for a design I actually want. I have also traded one for a daily shirt like suggested above. All work well and I think in the end the grab bag saves money, and also opens people up to different designs and ideas in great ways. I am a Mens Medium so let me know if you want t make any trades. Good luck!
Since this appears to be the defacto "trade your shirt" thread, I have Web Maker in Men's XL to trade. New, unworn, unwashed, etc. Shoot me an email at my username @gmail.com and let me know what you've got!
I've had a nightmare trading WL/WM too, not least because some users say yes then make you wait several weeks, then change their minds :( During which time, I've turned down other offers because of the initial request :( Also not everyone is happy to post to the UK. Shall we start an official WL/WM thread? (I've seen other people try to do it but then the thread just gets taken over!) If not we could try to organise an email or Facebook group that can be controlled sorely for WL/WM exchanges :)
Someone kindly started a WM thread (http://www.teefury.com/forum/6556/Women_s_Medium_Grab_Bag_Thread/ - main problem is its not staying on the front page as no-one has their tees yet!!) but no WL thread as yet..! Perhaps should combine forces.
I say gift it if you have someone you know would appreciate it. That isn't because I have ever been ripped off with a trade but because it often isn't worth the extra money to send them around. With that said I have traded twice, both successful exchanges though in the end after the random purchase, the shipping, then the second shipping the shirts were more like $18 each.
Often you can find someone who is willing to sell them for $10+shipping which works out a lot better than the trade.
You can always try http://teetrade.org/index.php too for finding shirts you want, or posting your for trade. Can make it a lot easier to get/get rid of unpopular shirts and sizes.
I bought two shirts in the grab bag and am hoping for either Doctor Who or Harry Potter. If anyone grabs those in ML please let me know. I'm looking in particular for the WHO blue shirt and the Vortex shirt. Thanks

LOL We should! I'm in. :)

That's okay! I know I'd happily trade for a MS, and some others might too. It doesn't hurt to check into our thread and find out. :)
its ok. Ive been trying to trade since end of June and no one wants them.
