Hey there, I am aspiring to produce a number of what I think could be rather clever designs for submission to Tee Fury and perhaps other sites like this one. I actually submitted my first design last Sunday August 21, I tried to follow the directions, however, reducing the art to a mere 640 pixel width really took a lot of the magic out of my artwork. When I view the image on a preview page it doesn't seem to do my original piece justice. Are initial submissions by artists merely low res bitmaps intended to give the curators a basic idea? Once a design is chosen, is a request made for a higher quality file? How long should I wait on any given submission before I may attempt to submit that art elsewhere?
If you feel your preview doesn't do it justice, keep a small section at the bottom of the image free for a 'detail' inset.
Acceptance can be upto 4-5 weeks, you'd usually have heard by the end of the third week. But not always.
There's nothing stopping you submitting your art elsewhere but watch out because some of those 'elsewheres' have insane terms and conditions. Also only two places I know compete with the sales volume of Teefury and therefore certain places will limit your earnings potential. So don't waste your best designs on the smaller operations unless the big operators pass.
Can anyone tell me an easy trick for posting images in the forum?

So whereever your image is located, pop it between the " " marks.
I have a website now too

To post a link to a web page that's not a picture, like thishref>, do the same thing you would do for an image except instead of typing "img" use "a href". Like this: [a href=https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150267426187143.327213.553462142&l=dca5f7cf9a&type=1]Whatever you want the clickable text to say[/a href] but replace the [ ] brackets with brackets, the same way you would do for an image, as Chuffy said. Hope this helps :)
As it turns out I went and built myself a little google site and linked to the image there. I posted the image I submitted a week ago Sunday.
Some feedback would be awesome!
