I've seen a few shirts with gradients and I'm wondering what the guidelines are for those. Your only supposed to use 6 colors, so would one side of the gradient need to be the same color as the shirt?

halftoning basically turns gradients into a two colour dot pattern that (optically) fades colours into each other, but actually it doesn't (but it looks like it)
