hitch-hikers guide?

Hi Guys,

i have a couple of ideas for hitch-hikers guide designs, I personally prefer the old TV series characters (especially Marvin and Zaphod) but what would you guys prefer, the old TV series characters or the film versions?

or none at all?

    Old TV, something from the actual guide like Bethselamin or towels or the Babelfish.

    Unlike most, I loved the movie, but understand why some did not. I would actually simply prefer original art without characters at all. I.E. an old tavern sign for the Restauraunt at the End of the Universe...permaybehaps.

    either way - you're gonna lose buyers if you chose a side
    like the poster above me said; maybe you shoud keep that open, include more book references than series/film references

    I read the book and loved it, and I enjoyed the recent movie more than the series. I would probably prefer a movie reference, but a non-character reference will probably work well
