I like it better the way it is, I think actual koopas would make it more cartoony, which isn't necessarily a good thing.

I think some koopas not a lot, but one or two make the reference stand out more.

thanks all for your comments! my thought was to have this balanced with the visual of the tmnt logo but with the content of super mario bros. I think if i do actual koopas as ninja turtles that could be a whole other tee.
