I submitted a couple of designs so far and I'm wondering what is the best time to submit them. Does it help to have them submitted during a certain time so they can have a better chance to be see and considered for the day?

I haven't subbed very many, but I don't think it matters what time of day you sub something.

It doesn't matter when you submit. They go into a Queue I believe so they are more or less viewed in order. At least that's my understanding

the designs are chosen and prepared weeks ahead ... and from what I understood from jimiyo, they are looked through and accepted/rejected in batches. I guess they just look into their pile of sumbmssion once or twice a week, make a NO, YES and MAYBE pile and see where (or better when) it fits ...

Oh i thought it was a daily kind of thing. So you wont actually know if your design gets chosen unless they tell you. It could end up in like the dead pile and you wouldn't know about it. How would we know when we are free to say upload it to our website portfolio for the public to see? I understand that you aren't allowed to post your design until after the day it was sold. And...if they are chosen weeks in advance you might not know for a while :(

This is pretty accurate. There is no ideal time.

We look through them more than once or twice a week though... though the reason is to purge the most undesirable designs.

There is approximately a rolling 40-80 maybes at any time.

on the help section of the site on the question saying "Do the artists get paid?" it says

"They do. We pay each artist $1 per shirt sold AND the artist keeps full rights to their design. After a design's 24 hour stint on TeeFury it is free to go where it pleases."

the last sentence leads me to assume that it cant be posted anywhere else until...

They only use your design for 24 hrs. After that time period, you are free to fdo whatever you want with the design

Yeah, but I've always assumed they just didn't want it to be a design already used at another Tee site. Or sold in some other format (print, coffee mug, etc.). Designs get posted here all the time before submission, so I would think that merely posting it on your website or facebook page wouldn't exclude it from acceptance here. Maybe somebody out there could tell us for sure what the rules are regarding this?

Yeah, seriously. Please clarify this. We're not just declaring "bump" because it's fun to do. Well, that's part of it. But this is a legit question that could seriously impact the status of our submissions. *sigh* Not to complain, because I dearly love this site, but getting solid info to aid in the creation and submission of art is, dare I say it, in-"fury"-ating at times. I wish there were a page with a solid list of rules. Oh well. Still love it here! Thanks to anyone who can help us out.

This is actually the burning question. Sorry for the confusion; this thread is dragging on and becoming a bit ungainly.
