Hello!
Just a quick question:
When creating a t-shirt design to submit, is it then alright to write company names such as "SONY" on, let's say, a T.V. in the design, or is it alright to write "Pokémon" on a Pokémon-game which is included in the design, or is this against the copyright rules?

I've searched your homepage for facts about what you must and must not include in your designs, but I haven't really been able to find anything...

Hope you guys can help me out, thank you :)

It's generally safer not to have the proper names on it :)

Your best bet might be to either change the spelling of the name or obscure part of it, so it's still recognizable enough to get the reference, but not enough to get sued.

On Monday, January 23, 1989, a U.S. federal trademark registration was filed for BATMAN. This trademark is owned by DC COMICS, New York, NY 10019. The USPTO has given the BATMAN trademark serial number of 73776441. The current federal status of this trademark filing is REGISTERED AND RENEWED.

I'm keeping an eye on you...
