Teefury

I've only made, I think, three trades through teetrade.org. They've all involved purchasing, rather than trading. I used PayPal each time and just had to trust the other person.

Well the person I'm trading with I found here on Teefury. Do you recommend using Teetrade? Does it actually use some kind of system or do they just match people up to trade?

Teetrade.org is just a open website, not really a part of Teefury, nor is there an official Teefury trading site or process.

It's just honor system I believe.

1. If your trading partner has used TeeTrade before, then you could check their profile there. Other people with whom they've dealt might have left comments about their transactions.

2. If you found the person on TeeFury and already struck a deal, then there's no real need to use TeeTrade. At this point, the only extra it will allow over TeeFury is private messaging for sending addresses, e-mail addresses, etc.

Ok. Thank you very much. I figured it was the honor system, but I figured I'd ask if there was some kind of "safe" way through paypal or something. Thanks for the help. :)

usually what i do is i agree with the person on a day to send out the shirts, where you will both go send the shirts that day then, the next step, which is KEY, is getting a delivery confirmation. its only like 40 cents more, but its a way where both people can see that something was sent/the status of the shirt.

I've *NEVER* had a single bit of luck on TeeTrade.

I dont' know what the deal is, but when people get back in touch with me, we get things setup and then nothing happens...
I never ever hear from them again. Even tho, when you send them responses, they get a message in their email saying that someone has responded to them.

It's a shame. Could be a great place... I've tried to get some TeeFury specific LOGO shirts there that I've missed. I've even tried from 3 different people to get the Teevil De Mayo shirt. *sigh*

I've had four successful trades on TeeTrade, three involving flat out trades and one that involved a trade for a purchase of the "shirt of the day" on TeeFury. I guess I just got lucky :o)

yeah, teetrade is fine i suppose, but like my man fuzzy said it doesnt really work out too well. I've done like, 6 or 7 shirts not including the 2 that i sent out from this one and each time it was just through emails. I send out my address, they do the same and we agree to ship it a certain way. Im pretty sure you'll never run into a trust issue on this website, its home to some of the best people around.

I don't doubt my faith in anyone on Teefury. I've been checking back for the daily Tee for almost a year now and have lurked around on the forums. I've just never been a regular poster. (Maybe that needs to change. =P) But, I definitely know that Teefury hosts some of the best people in the world.

My trades straight thru here have worked great!!!

I go into TeeTrade form time to time and just ask different people if they'd like to sell the shirts I'm looking for.

I get responses... but then it ends after about 2 weeks. I reply back, and no response. So very strange.

I'll keep trying! So many Fury Shirts from the past I *really* want. Mostly just the Tbird and Teevil related shirts. Big time want those in mens XL or even L or even 2XL if anyone has any to sell or trade!
