how to upload a photo in forum??

Hi,
this might sound stupid, but i still need to ask here.....
i know on the right upper corner tell how to upload a picture here, but i still dont understand...how

can anyone tell me how??

    You need to host it somewhere (like photobucket or similar) and then link it using img tabs here.

    Is there more to it then that? I put the image tags around the link to my picture after uploading it to my server and nothing. Please help!
