I posted my three trading shirts on teetrade: Lost collage, Laduma 2010 and CopyCat. I list that they are large and unworn. I got no response. I messaged people about trading, and I get no reply. I even offer to buy shirts that people list as either trade or sale, and I get no response. I posted in the trade thread here and I got one person who wanted to buy one shirt then I never hear from him again. Even if it was a message back saying they weren't interested that would be one thing, but not a single person has messaged me back. I never thought it would be so hard to get rid of these grab bag shirts I didn't want. I'm done with the teetrade place, so here are my shirts, all are mens large and unworn or washed.
Price is $5 plus you pay shipping. In US shipping will be around $5 and international $10

Laduma 2010, Lost Collage, and Copy Cat/Cat Scan (its the one with the cat on top of a copier)

I would be willing to trade for either Spock On, CCTV or Puppet Check-Up.

IF ANYONE HAS PUPPET CHECK UP IN MENS LARGE I AM OFFERING $20 + WHATEVER SHIPPING IS

I have just made my first trade with another Tee Furian. I still have 5 or 6 shirts. They're obviously ones that no one is after. I'll hang onto them for the next one, maybe I'll get rid of them then?

**blinks*** $5 dollar for shipping? there's a $5 box that USPS sells otherwise I wouldn't expect more then $2 on shipping 1 shirt by weight. grab paper sack and tape into flat flappy thing and ship.

I got responses but you have to list your email not every ones javascteefurycopy works when they click on your profile. I'm offering to buy a new current shirt for two grab bag shirts long as I like one of them. On the ones I really like I offer to just take that shirt in trade for a new one. cuts down on the hassle, gives shirts a home and starts a trade relationship for furture grab bags.

That socks. All I can say is that a lot of people i've talked to have had very similar experiences with teetrade as well as the teefury forums, its not just you. Fortunately for me, I've had success with trading (1 for 1 and i'm sure my luck will not last).

There are some good people out there to trade with, I guess, is my point.

If you mail a shirt 1st class mail, it is generally about 2.50 depending on the envelope you use. I usually use a padded envelope. I would not use a paper sack.

I've had a few teefury shirts up on teetrade for probably close to a year. Don't feel bad.

I've managed 4-5 trades to date through teetrade and all of them have been plesant experiences. Saying that for every successful trade i have made 10+ requests without response. I think the problem is in part the clunky setup of the teetrade site, its not really user friendly so people loose interest quickly and never bother returning to the site to check there msgs. The other factor is people generally only respond if they are interested which socks but what can you do. Generally i just stick to the new shirts section because atleast you know the traders will be hanging around.

@ knightsee agreed on the clunkyness. Also I imagine your success rate is pretty average for most people.

I actually think there would be a lot more trades on Teefury if the forum were more user friendly. Its too messy and i think people would check the forums more often if it were improved. There is a trade that I'd like to see happen but I'm not sure the poster has seen my message. Not a real surprise.

    Can't wait for Teefury 2.0!!!

If Teefury had Private messaging it would make a world of difference to the state of the forums post grab bag and would probably render teetrade obsolete.

Yes. Or if Teebanter got more traffic. If you make a thread in Teefury, it will eventually get lost in the 70+ pages of topics, its easier to track a lost thread in Teebanter because of the search option.

I really do wish TeeFury had private messages, that's for sure.
That's why I wish more people would have profiles listing contact possibilities unless they don't want to.

People could even make a TeeFury specific email that they only use for here if they're a bit paranoid.

I love it when I see actual profiles on teefury. Fun stuff.:D

I've got 2 going on teetrade. So far so good!

Bumping this, I still have all the shirts, and I will still pay big bucks for a large puppet check-up. I was a little high on shipping so I'll go domestic shipping at $3 instead of $5. Shirts are still $5 each.

First person to email me, [email protected], gets either lost collage, laduma or cat cppy cat free. Gotta pay it forward. Thanks Richard for the Spock on shirt free!
