Does this mean you pay the artists again after the grab bag sale as presumably you print more shirts for this?

They don't print extra shirts for the grab just print a certain amount over the ordered total when they print and send these out in the grab bag. Artists are paid for these additionally printed shirts.

I assume they have to print more shirts as they do not know how may will sell in the grab bag sale. The sale does not end early if they sell out as far as I know so I assume they have to print more shirts if they sell more than expected?

TeeFury's shirts don't go to print until after the numbers are in, telling them how many have been ordered. They print more than that number, in case of problems with the print or something.
