working on a superman/super mario MashedPotato, can teefury even print legal print this with or with out the stache?
choice
i was trying to have this look more like superman done in the mario style. I'm afraid that with the mustache it looks more like mario in a costume then a concept MashedPotato

Ahhh...in my opinion, without the moustache, he just looks like a chubby superman. Lol...nothing wrong with that though! I would keep the moustache and then you have a good balance between the two themes. I can tell that it's superman even with the iconic facial hair :)

P.S. I hope they can print it! I would buy it on sky blue for sure.

Mustache for sure! Without the stache he looks like The Big Ragu from Laverne and Shirley. Love the Superman curl on the hair. I will buy this :D

I agree, without the facial hair, it's hard to tell it's even Mario. Gotta have that stache!

it really depends on what you are going for. do you want it to be obviously mario, or is it a tribute that only smart people or fans of mario with see? either way, its apparent that its a ode to superman, with or without the stache

Yeah, it ain't a Mario without the mustache.

You might want to try to re-do the mushroom insignia too. It doesn't read good at first glance.

yea, as above, it needs the mustache or its an overweight superman...
I agree, It does take at least a second look to see the logo as a mushroom.

Overall tho' it depends how cryptic you want it to be...

As for the second one not sure what to say so far

I can dig it--what if you rendered it in a "comic book" style? As of now, like people have said, it just looks like Mario in a costume.

Bring in the black ink. But definitely go for that magritte in mario style.

That shouldn't even be a question. Mustache, always.

because with the mustache im blatantly using Mario face pretty close to its original art.

I'm going to put it on the back burner so i can work more on this

I really dig the Magritte style design. I'd like to see some shading & maybe some clouds in background (might look cool to put one of those koopa cloud guys in the background too) nice work!

(or one of the flying koopas in the background might look cool too)

Deff going to be cloud and maybe a gold pipe.shading would up the color count to unprintable i think. I know anothersite could do it but TEEFURY cant. my real problem is how to put this on a tee shirt, i certainly just drop it in as a plain old rectangle
