If you don't get it: "Oui" is pronounced like "wii"
i know that oui is pronounce wii.... which is why i didnt really see the need for the remote. i got that it was french toast without it there. just a bit of overkill in my mind.
He's french toast, with french facial hair and a french beret. Saying "yes" in French (which is pronounced wii) while he happens to be playing the Wii. I think it's really cute and it works, considering the whole joke is about the sillyness. The joke would have had less meaning if he was just saying "yes" without playing a Wii.
I wouldn't buy it though, but only because I don't like mustaches.
BUT, I think it speaks enough without the Wii controller (is that what it is?), or the text really..
It`s cute as hell..
Though I do agree that the cute toast alone is enough. It's freaking adorable.
simple design with a great execution :]

It's quite funny though.
That's interesting...the Frenchman I know gets really pissed any time French toast is mentioned because it's not actually French.

How can you not like mustaches?
I don't really care about that, just a toast...
There are so many jokes with "WII / OUI(yes)" in France, THAT's really boring ! :/
Err.... Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh about that....
