Hi, I've recently got into designing shirts with the hope of starting my own print company, I'm currently just designing shirts and looking into printing them. Now I know there are a couple of different way to get shirts printed. My question is whats the best way to print a hand drawn picture? Now I know I have to scan it, but is it possible to print it with out converting it into a vector image? So pretty much I'm looking to scan my drawing and print with a good quality. The only thing that worries me is that it's colored with color pencil and I don't want to lose the feel/look of it.

thestray178 weeks agoYou don't need to make it a vector. Scan it at 300dpi in Photoshop, then adjust it to your liking. -
Flabeo178 weeks agoYeah, but what printing style would produce a nice quality print?

kriscad173 weeks ago200 DPI will work.. just Google index or simulated process printing... I suggest finding a shop that will do contract printing and let them do it.
