hahahaha we know!!! but the Fed Ex International Mail System - FIMS - is cheap but sucks! any suggestions on what works best?
said 24 weeks ago
shirt.woot also uses FIMS (http://www.fedex.com/us/fims/howitworks/whatisfims.html?link=4)
In my opinion it's okay - not as fast as USPS but the price to germany and other countries is really good ($5 at woot)

go go go! :D
said 24 weeks ago
they better add it soon!
or else!!

I'm used to paying a bunch, and waiting for weeks. With tees for $9 you can afford to go more expensive, but you wouldn't have to.
said 24 weeks ago
Yeah, I don't mind paying a bit more for decent shipping if it's fairly speedy and the tee is only 9 dollars
said 24 weeks ago
yay wrote about this in other topic, but ill be waiting :)

Remember international fans dont want to miss first great designs :)

But i see one problem....

Imagine you have international shipping and i buy todays shirt, cause i dont know what comes tomorrow i cant order more.. Now lets say tommorow shirt is also good, ill order it again.. So in worst case(worst for logistics, best for you :)) someone may end up with 5 packets leaving every morning.

1. Will be pain in the ass at Customs
2. Every shirt will have to be shipped in different package
3. 5 x shipping cost when they all could fit in one package.

So i would suggest somekind of shipping days for international shipping, like every tuesday and friday. That way if INT customer buy wednesday and thursday they both would be shipped on friday, couple of days delay wont matter, as shipping from US is at least 1 week
said 24 weeks ago
I concur!! Excellent idea Reliique.

Please TeeFury, for the love of all that's international!!

We're trying to figure out how to address exactly those types of issues with international shipping before we offer it- so, great suggestion! We'll probably use it!
said 24 weeks ago
Great idea, Reliique :)
said 24 weeks ago
i hope so!!!!
said 23 weeks ago
use USPS here at my work for everything from Canada to AU. Either research the rates on usps.com or when they purchase from our zen cart (usps module) site
said 23 weeks ago
hear hear !!!
said 23 weeks ago

To shipping internationally, Australia says yes.

said 23 weeks ago
you guys should get international quick cause so many people want to buy shirt i live in the u.s but its sad to see people really wanting a shirt but cant get it because they are in another country
said 23 weeks ago
true_one, thanks for your sympathy...really nice to hear in this day and age

I's say switch to UPS. I worked for a company that shipped internationally every day and we used UPS and never had any problems. I don't know if they use the UPS supply chain thing where UPS works to avoid customs delays and what not on your behalf. I just know UPS worked great.
said 23 weeks ago
some of my american friends have been buying them for my UK friends which is rather nice. International shipping is a must but I understand it's one step at a time for a new company.

Shipping internationally New Zealand Aotearoa says yes
said 22 weeks ago
I find that Fed Ex sucks internationally. I ordered something and shipped it to London only to end up paying £20 in fees that weren't VAT-related.
said 22 weeks ago
i think international shipping will eventually come, but i would except a handling charge considering you need to provide customs doc for each shipment - and i haven't seen anyway of automating them on USPS
said 22 weeks ago
Yes, finally, an official discussion on int'l shipping. Due to the nature on how t-shirts are sold each day, I will have to agree with "Reliique" suggestion of sending multiple shipments on selected days of the week. I'd love to get an email when this issue is finally resolved so I can start buying! :D

Huurrryyyy
This is killing me!

And another 'agreed' to Reliique.
said 22 weeks ago
International shipping pretty please! I love this site so much and it pains me so much that I can't buy! I'm in the UK and for a $9 t-shirt, I don't mind paying a little extra for shipping, think Reliique's suggestion is top
said 22 weeks ago
If you ship via USPS First Class Mail International, it's not too expensive. Marked as a $9 item, it shouldn't be any problem.
said 22 weeks ago
I don't know if it's just luck, but I've had to pay "handling" fees on orders from Valve and Threadless when shipped to the UK-- one was £8 extra for a £25 order (with an extra £4 for VAT)-- making 5 tees from Threadless £37 :< Valve I had a £40 order and had to pay £20 to FedEx for some reason! For 'paperwork'. Such rubbish! Sure am happy I can have my tee's sent to US addresses :) Does anyone else have this same problem with some of their tee-sites?

If you're going to ship internationally do it like AkumuInk does it! I've never had fees on their's :> (they hand stamp the packages and stuff)
said 22 weeks ago
When I lived in the UK a year ago, I experienced the same thing. It seems like the "handling" charges were whatever they felt like charging for the day.

Trick is to mark the item as a GIFT and then we weren't charged anything. Not sure if Tee Fury could get away with that or not.

I'm fine with FIMS. Woot uses it, and it takes a long time (one month to get to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada), but it's better than nothing.

Reliique's suggestion is good, though not I don't think it's necessary. Woot doesn't offer a shopping cart feature even for their unreckoned shirt sales (where it would make sense). I can't speak for everyone, but if I buy a shirt one day I'll be less inclined to purchase a shirt immediately the next day, if only because it'll feel like I'm throwing money away. :P

Please offer international shipping soon. Canada, at least!
said 22 weeks ago
Canada wants shirts
said 22 weeks ago
eHalcyon i just bought first time from woot and it was pain in the ass to be honest :D
said 22 weeks ago
Hey Rel, that's fine. Out of curiosity, where were you shipping to? I can only speak of my own experience with woot and FIMS shipping; as I mentioned above, I'm shipping to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I've had no problems with woot's shipping, apart from the month-long wait.

bump so this can happen
said 21 weeks ago
It's official...you have now killed my will to live. Can't stand seeing these designs and not have any access to them. Any progress in the international shipping effort? Just throw us a bone.
said 21 weeks ago
Any progress?

we can pray for it

said 20 weeks ago

Could we please have an update on international shipping.
UK customer here watching design after design go by.

I don't believe FIMS ships to Singapore, please include a way to get tees to us somehow!
said 19 weeks ago
DHL is pretty cheap international
said 18 weeks ago
%&@%$*#$!!!

these are some fantastic shirts.
said 17 weeks ago
I'm checking your site out for a couple of weeks now!
It is really a pain in the a**, seeing all those designs going...so please: any update on international shipping?!

FedEx would be fine with me, never waited longer than 3 weeks (shipped to Germany), and DHL and UPS weren't really faster though.

Hurry up, pleeeeeeeeeeeeaseeeee!!!
said 14 weeks ago
Could you please give us an update?
I know you must be crazy busy, but if you look at it this way: the U.S. economy is tanking and you've got and untapped market of people grovelling and begging to buy your product. Not such a bad position to be in, non?

Two shirts in a row I really wanted.
said 12 weeks ago
Patience. Let's not forget this is a young company with a lot to deal with. I'm sure you will get your shipping problems addressed soon.
said 12 weeks ago
Its tough though. Some shirts are nice and know that they will be gone forever sucks.
said 12 weeks ago
Obviously woot is a different animal than teefury... when they started offering international shipping, there were 27 to 34 shirts from days, weeks, and months prior that the international buyer could scoop up. Some foreign shirt fans could grab their regrets finally when international shipping went through. Teefury fans cannot because of the one-day shelf life.

Still, to compare the two sites as is so easy to do despite their differences, it took 7 months for woot to even start shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, about another month to get to Canada, and two months further to go International (though if you happen to live in, say, Indonesia or the Philippines or even Russia, they're still not gonna be much help).

That teefury is working on international shipping at under three months old says a lot about the company. If they can get it done by Christmas even, they're twice as fast as their closest competition. Though I really hope it's soon, especially knowing how many great shirt designers there seem to be from around the world... a timely fix could greatly bring up the site's traffic.
