HEY there! I've wanted to become a t-shirt artist for some time now and I've been inspired by all the designers here at TeeFury. So, so start with I am confused on how everything works in terms of submitting a shirt design to TeeFury. I would appreciate some guidelines on what should be expected.
To clear things up, I don't know if I'm supposed to just make the designs and TeeFury makes the shirts out of it or am I the one that actually has to make the shirts myself?
Secondly, I would like to know what kind of program people use when they transfer their hand-drawn design onto a templates and how they don't make it so "sketchy" (if that makes sense) o-o;
You know, the basic guidelines. (I know about screen printing, etc)

lol, I sound like an idiot but I really need some advice.
Please and thanks in advance!! (:

    Hey Replenish! its nice to hear you are trying to get into the business!

    First of all, people around here are usually using programs like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or Painter X. Its real easy, if you have sketches, to scan them right onto your computer, open the image up into Photoshop and from there, tweak the "sketchiness" and add color. There are tons of tutorials out there so just search the question you are looking to be answered and you will for sure find an answer somewhere. Also, just post blogs up here or on emptees.com if you are ever looking for a little critique on your work!

    As for teefury.. To clear things up, no you would not need to make your own shirts; once your design is accepted by a teefury curator (jimiyo, sonmi, mj), teefury will do the rest. As the designer you will receive $1 per t-shirt sold the day your t-shirt is featured and as a bonus, you will retain the rights to the design after your featured day has finished.
    As for submitting a design in the first place, you will need to contact one of those three curators via email.

    There emails are:

    mj@teefury.com
    jimiyo@teefury.com
    sonmi@teefury.com

    I hope this helps!
    Cheers

    Oh thank you so much!
    Hopefully I will get the opportunity to express my artwork onto t-shirts very soon. :D
    That's all I really needed to know, ty.

    Just to clarify if you want to e-mail to the curators it's actually julia@teefury.com not sonmi@teefury.com
