I like it a lot. I would buy it because I will be going to Oktoberfest in Waterloo(Canada), but shipping on TeeFury proves to be too slow...so it would never get here in time. Must think about it.
my whole closet is soon to be just straight tee fury shirts lol...DOWN with overpriced t-shirts from retail stores and mall outlets!! *cough* buckle *cough* loll
Love it!!! Here's an idea....how about shirts with obscure locations from movies? I can totally see a "winchester pub" (sean of the dead) or a Mos Eisley cantina pub style design.

I am Currently in Germany and going to Oktoberfest!!! This is the Bicentennial of it and if you have never been, you are only hurting yourself! Unless you don't drink, eat meat, eat bread, eat cheese or enjoy being around a lot of loud drunk people. If that's the case, you aren't missing a thing. Stay home and quit taking up good seats in the tents!
The shirt is great... I kinda want to buy it for my boyfriend. He was just in Germany and loves beer! I hate beer though. :(
I also LOVE the sloth!
And I know this isn't constructive to the shirt but... alot - a + lot. There is a space in there. It's two words. It doesn't bother me if the posters or even the artists do that... but the questions should PROBABLY be written properly. It just looks sloppy. Thanks.
click said: damnit! i just saw the pac man BRAINNNS shirt and I just missed it. this shirts cool too. possible pick up. anybody know what the 1978 represents?
I'm fairly certain they acknowledge Oktoberfest at both Disney World/land and Kings Island amusement park, so I'm aware of it.
I really love the colors, but I'm not sure the shirt really draws me in. The style of the art is alluring, but I think I'm too used to generic store shirts putting types of mundane crests of their product to be interested in a shirt with one on it.
castilloa said: Love it!!! Here's an idea....how about shirts with obscure locations from movies? I can totally see a "winchester pub" (sean of the dead) or a Mos Eisley cantina pub style design.
I don't see Mos Eisley as being "obscure".
I know Mos Def but whos Mos Eisley?
(I know I could google, Im being difficult on purpose)

Really? Outside of nerdom I doubt the general public knows Mos Eisley is from Star Wars.

I NEED A WINCHESTER SHIRT! And the sloth sideart would be a quick buy too.

Actually, pretty much just anything from Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, or Spaced, however lame the concept is, would be an insta-buy.
I am lame and don't like beer....so I don't celebrate Oktoberfest. But the shirt is cool and if I did celebrate it I would have to wear that while doing so:)
To everyone that says, "If only I weren't broke!" or any rendition of said sentence, just stop. That has to be the most annoying comment in the history of comments. Not only for me, but for any of the designers too. Just say it's a good design and move on, no need to discuss your fiscal status.

The last shirt we bought came in much faster than expected. Maybe it was luck or maybe it was a change in the process.

Fuzzy, fabuloso pic of ya, you dancing fool you ;)
and, smuuuuuurf, in the last 2 weeks i've bought at least 2 singles, a 3-pack in the grab-bag delio, and now simply love this one. i'm not complaining of money... just running out of closet space ;)
ich werde mich in dem shirt hier nicht blicken lassen, das geht ja gar nicht!
->
I would not want to be seen wearing that shirt here (north-west Germany) that shirt is a no go!
- but probably several Americans and others are going to buy that because they think it is typical German.
Urgh!
(however the design is somehow alright
and I actually like the sideart)
I'm not sure where to write a request, but, I would really like to see a Big Foot shirt of some kind. Sasquatch, Yeti, maybe having a cage match or birthday party together. I'm just sayin.
I had my first Das Boot of the season last night, wish I had this shirt on!
Here in Brazil we have the largest Oktoberfest outside of Germany, in Blumenau, a city founded by German immigrants. The first one was in 1984.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oktoberfest_celebrations
If only I had heard of this site back then, and if only IT HAD BEEN SOLD BEFORE I WAS AT OKTOBERFEST!
Oktoberfest this year was awesome. It was the 200th anniversary. The 1L beers stayed cold the entire time I drank. And most of the servers are NOT young, hot girls. Mostly older ladies that can carry the ridiculous amounts of booze. The cuter girls usually end up selling pretzels or other snacks.
But it was definitely the best drinking experience for me, surpassing my college days in a fraternity.
Words from Jimiyo: We've got something different for you today Terrific Teefurians. It's going to be one of those hit or misses. Who knows, maybe holiday shirts will be the next big thing?
Apparently Oktoberfest is "16-day festival held each year in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, running from late September to early October," where over 6 million people meet to eat alot of sausage and drink over 6,940,600 litres of booze.
I've not been to an Oktoberfest, so I will have to live vicariously through other people's experiences.
Have you celebrated Oktoberfest? Let us know in the comments so those of us that never have can buy this shirt, and use your story to boost our rep!
INTERVIEW WITH ARTIST
What's a day in the life of Lucas like? I sleep, work and play. I live with my lovely Fiancee, Shannon. On weekends, we go camping, hiking, sit by the river, drive in our Wrangler...etc. Living the dream, that's me.
Where are you on the map? Sauk Rapids, Minnesota
Do you celebrate Oktoberfest? Hells yeah I do... All the micro-brews release there best beers around that time.
Do you own a lot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite? Yeah, way to many. It's an addiction. My favorite at the moment is" BaaHaa! I have nets too" it was printed on Woot about a year ago, but I still where it more than any other.
If you could go only to one restaurant for the next five years, which would it be? Origami Sushi in Downtown Minneapolis.
What do you like to do for fun? I like to go hiking, camping, disc golfing, going to concerts... designing shirts.
Have you ever had to get stitches? Any battle scars? In my 28 years of life, I have had 170+ stitches, 2 pins, 1 broken bone and to many hits to the head to recall.
If you could own an exotic animal as a pet, what kind would you have, and what would you name it? I would have an Iguana. I would probably name it Larry. Or it would be a Llama named... well Llama.
MAC or PC? PC ftw.
Recommend a product: Big Agnes camping gear. Great gear for a great price.
