It's been ten days, and they still haven't shipped my Harry Potter shirt. This was going to be a gift and had they shipped it within the stated 3-7 day window, it would have arrived on time. Now I'm not sure I should order again until they get caught up with their shipping.

I'm pretty stoked on my first print here. This comes at a great time for me, as I'm getting killed with deadlines. I color comic books, and November is a crazy month, I've colored three, 22 page books in the past couple of weeks and have another 21 or so pages to do this weekend. I'm worn out, and this made my weekend exponentially more bearable.

shipping takes 3-7 days, but they dont even start printing until the orders are placed. usually when i order, its two weeks. if its not fast enough for you, do what i do... order one a week... then you arent really concerned about it, as long as you get your new shirt every week :)
joko77 said: pretty sure thats the pokemon font! NICE!
yes indeed, it is.
NOOOO!!! WHY DID THIS HAVE TO BE POINTED OUT?!
This is one of the best shirts on teefury in the past week or so (maybe even the past month). Too bad I can't purchase it because now I'm so focused on the wretched use of that Smurfing Pokemon font.
I love the puns!! Very creative!! I'm sad that people are passing on this one. I think it's pretty awesome! I'm getting it for sure. Love me some Poe! :)
I am rather impressed by this one:) i will indeed convince my grandparents to buy it for me as a Christmas present. it is most humorous especially since I live in New Orleans... were one of the most delicious meals found here is a variety of different po' boys:) or otherwise know as hoggies I believe?

Sometimes it takes up to a month for shirts to ship in my experience. They still have not sent the shirts out from the week before the Harry Potter shirts were released.

That is not correct. It may take that long to *receive* a shirt depending on your location and shipping choices (we can't control the post office), but almost all shirts are sent out within 3 to 7 business days.
Also, while I do not have access to shipping information on specific designs, I can confirm that at least some designs from the days immediately before the Harry Potter shirt are already in the hands of customers. I've seen photos on Twitter of Island Reunion, Zombama Returns, and Troy Story for sure. We're working as fast as we can, folks :)
Oops, I think I replied to the wrong person, but I meant to reply to you. I said........Yeah, I haven't gotten my Harry Potter shirt yet either, but I did get an email yesterday saying it had shipped. I am excited to get it!!!! I don't know if they are all slow or if it depends on the artist or what? I'll just be happy to get it and wear it proudly!! Buy the shirt if you want it, you'll wear it for years and you'll forget that it took a long time to get there!! Later fellow HPotter fan!!

OK, we get it... You're waiting on a shirt. The information given when placing EVERY order clearly indicates that it could take up to ~3 weeks or more to get a shirt. Be patient. It'll come, and when it does, you won't care how long it took to get there.

I'd blame your postal system, mine arrive in the UK well within two week ususally.
I don't get this one though, maybe because I've never read any of Poe's work...

Did you check the tracking number you received in your email shipping notice? You should be able to tell from that where it is in the delivery process.
I LOVE IT! Finally Maryland/ Baltimore are getting a shout out! Omg im really debating on this one because of my love affair with all things Maryland as well as Poe but im just not to sure about the layout....this will require a think tank!
LOL ten days. Teextile took like 3 months to ship out a 1-color print shirt out to me! How's that for a wait? I've placed 40+ teefury orders and they arrived within 10, 14 days at the latest.
I love this one, but 2 Poe tshirts in my closet mayyyy be too much. Or is it?

Congrats odysseyroc !!
I really liked this in the vintage derby, and I like it better now on black. Really helps with the vintage look, IMO. Plus, Poe=Blackness :)
The shirts take 3-7 days to ship, but that is only AFTER they finish the print run! It takes more than a day to make all the t-shirts that are ordered.
I got my "True Love Never Lies" shirts about two weeks after I ordered it.
My suggestion would be to print out an image of the shirt and put it in a gift card! Let the recipient know that the present is on its way. :)
Opps, sorry, forgot the quotes!

How long will it take to get my order?
Once an order is placed it usually takes 3-7 business days for us to print and process it. After your order is processed it will be shipped. Time in transit for shipping from our warehouse to your front door can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks, depending on the the shipping method you select during checkout.
This info is readily available on this site. The shirts are printed to order. They're never printed and ready to go when the shirt goes up for sale.

depends on where you live. if you live in England, like me, it takes AGES for shirts to get here, and I get that, because they're based in America. But if you live in the US, I guess you have a right to be pissed

yup teefury takes forever sometimes to ship orders. some shirts come fast or on time and most others come really really slow

It's not the shipping process that holds things up. It is the printing process. When you order from one of these daily t-shirt sites, you need to understand that they are not pre-printed. It usually takes about 3 weeks from the time you order to the time you receive it. Also, 3-7 days means 3-7 business days and not '3 days to one week'. So hold the animosity. They did nothing wrong.

They don't have the tees preprinted. They print to order, then ship.
Hmm, I like Poe, but this one doesn't quite appeal to me. I find the many fonts to be distracting and the square bits feel a bit chunky. I feel like Poe's restaurant would advertise something a little drearier, you know? I perhaps would have bought it even with just the image on the shirt, as the picture is fantastic and the colours are great.

They don't run sell out of shirts. Sometimes problems arise behind that mean a shirt needs to be pulled prematurely, or else altogether like Missmonster's shirt last week I believe it was. There can be copyright problems or something like that.
So it's not selling out; it's more the cancellation of a print.
And on a completely different note.. It took me a while to get the punchline, but I totally dig the design anyway. I love antiquey looking designs! Congrats on the print!
Wow, can there BE any more typoes and random words in that post? Lemme fix that.
"They don't sell out of shirts. Sometimes problems arise behind the scenes.." etc etc.
apparently my first comment wasn't considered constructive criticism. so how about this:
Edgar Allen Poe was a genius. A mad, dark genius. To me, this shirt insults his memory, with its youthful typeface (of which there are no less than 3 varieties) and sandwich reference. Possibly if it were a real sandwich shop it'd be clever, if it had an eerie Poe theme. However, I am not partial to shirts advertising non-existant establishments in general ("Woody's Lube Shop", etc.), and as an EAP fan, this one especially does not tickle my fancy.
I am aware that not everything in life must be taken seriously, nor do I take it so, but I failed to find this shirt especially clever or appealing.
Aw, I love this. :D I'm tempted to buy it, but I think I'll wait for another gem. I have to say though, I finally got my Milenterprise Falcon shirt, and it looked awesome and was very comfortable. Very pleased with the quality.

I never have a problem with their shipping. Do you live in a place with no ground entry? My building is key-coded so Fed-Ex and UPS can't get in.

it takes them like a week to make a shirt, then you add on whatever shipping you put.
Absolutely adore Poe but forsome reason this shirt seems wrong, cant quite say no more than that. Another Poe shirt design more worthy would be HUGELY appreciated mind.

Was this your first order?
I've come to anticipate a 14-20 day window for shirts to arrive. Like MJ said, they have to print them before they can ship them. These are one of a kind shirts, and good quality at that. You can't rush made-to-order.

I e-mailed them a few days ago about my order because mine hadn't shipped either. The person who e-mailed me back said that they had received a massive amount of orders for the Harry Potter shirt and were trying to get them out as fast as they could. They're doing the best they can.

I live in Baltimore, and really want to get this, but... I already own so many black t-shirts, and TeeFury makes a TON of black tees. A faded purple or a gray really would've fit the bill here.
Very clever, but I'm gonna pass!
I do own too many black t-shirts... the last one was given to me, as a present, just yesterday, from a friend of mine. He's an artist that has suggested sooo many designs here, on Teefury, but he never got published!
Shirts not for me but I do agree with the artist that "The Boys" is one of the best Comics out there right now! 2nd only to "The Walking Dead" Good job!!!!

/facepalm at people trying to say teefury is taking forever to get them their shirts. i dont need to say anything, because its already been said today by many other people that GET IT, plus i find it very disrespectful to the artist to talk about how you havent gotten your harry potter shirt in a time-frame that suits your wants and needs. at least take it to the forum if you wanna cry, dont mud up the front page where you should be comment about how RAD this shirt is.
anyway, love this tee, but not for me. its very well made, and the font is awesome. im not too sure what baltimore has to do with it though, is there actually a sandwhich shop called poe boys that exists? if so, thatd make this shirt 100 times cooler. love the side art, looking forward to more from oddessyrock in the future!

Poe lived in Baltimore for a while and died there. Somebody suggested that I add it, when I was working on it for a woot derby. I think I was watching the entire series of The Wire for like the 50th time, so I was like "Baltimore? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!"

it's a type of cheaply made sandwich that is on a hoggie bun(?) or french bread. they are usually verry tasty and rather large for the amount paid. this is why they are called po' boys, because even a poor boy could afford one. i personally like rosted beef the best.

Good call. Each color means an extra trip though the shop printing. Plus, they are only going to print as many as get sold, so when a shirt goes viral you're looking at an extra lead time due to the fact that tons of people who have never seen the sight are ordering. That a good thing for them and us. You jut have to be patient.

Listen to this reading of the Edger Allan Poe poem The Raven. Then know that there is a sandwich called a Po' Boy, also know that Poe himself was a native of Baltimore, Maryland. After that it's just a bunch of clever visual puns based on all this info. The face in the center is Poe. Follow the link for the reading, it's a pretty good production.

A word from the curator: Sometimes even Edgar Allen Poe likes to loosen up and have some fun!
Tell us a bit about this design. I just woke up one day had that this idea in my head, and I have no idea where it came from. I just couldn't stop thinking about it for a couple of weeks, and ended up putting this design down just to stop the voices in my head. I was going to also do a design called "The Tell Tale Hearth Bakery" as a sort of companion piece, but never got around to it. Where are you from? I'm originally from Gardena, California, where (coincidentally), that question was the precursor to every gang fight I witnessed in High School. I'm currently living in the St Louis, MO area. What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you? I once punched a hole through a cow, just to see who was coming up the road. I also color "The Boys", the best comic book on the racks. What do you absolutely not want them to find out? I have an irrational fear of irrational fears. Name a few of your favorite things. Taco trucks, the street food in downtown LA, tacos, cooking tacos and watching B-movies while eating tacos. Oh, I also like Tacos. What are your feelings about the ocean? I used to love that fool, but we have had beef ever since he destroyed my phone, jerk! Would you rather play a sport or coach the team? Play for sure. Camping vs. hotels: which would win the battle? Hotels, because of work. I need to be connected to the internet at all times, because comic deadlines can be pretty crazy and you just never know when something will need to be tweaked. Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much. "Punched Out!!" by 8-Bit Zombie. The art features King Hippo from Mike Tyson's Punchout. I'm partly drawn to the shirt because Punchout! is maybe my favorite game ever, but what really makes it great is the art. The print is huge on the shirt, and the illustration is everything I wish my designs could be. The style of the drawing is bugged out and the color choices are amazing. Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium. Watching movies. It's hard to narrow it down to one title, so I'll leave a recommendation: The Room. If you haven't seen Tommy Wiseau's classic, run out and see it right now, if you've already seen it, run out and see it again right now! What inspires your work? Anything and every creative. I'm listening to Busdriver's album "Jhelli Beam" as I type this and it makes me want to push myself creatively. I got my start as a graffiti artist, but I try to pull my inspiration from all over the place. Lately I've been on a big Rick Griffin kick. Any shout outs? Big ups to my wife Lorie for kicking me in the butt when I get lazy and my family for being awesome. Hi Mom!

dude they print them as fast as they can... the site isnt a large corporation and the shirts are printed in the days after the orders are made... for some shirts they are made in a day some take a long time because of the many colors... so just be patient and learn that good things take time... and that u should plan ur gifts accordingly... Ur fail not teefurys

shipping takes 3-7 days, but they dont even start printing until the orders are placed. usually when i order, its two weeks. if its not fast enough for you, do what i do... order one a week... then you arent really concerned about it, as long as you get your new shirt every week :)

NOOOO!!! WHY DID THIS HAVE TO BE POINTED OUT?!
This is one of the best shirts on teefury in the past week or so (maybe even the past month). Too bad I can't purchase it because now I'm so focused on the wretched use of that Smurfing Pokemon font.

Sometimes it takes up to a month for shirts to ship in my experience. They still have not sent the shirts out from the week before the Harry Potter shirts were released.
MJsaid 79 weeks ago
That is not correct. It may take that long to *receive* a shirt depending on your location and shipping choices (we can't control the post office), but almost all shirts are sent out within 3 to 7 business days.
Also, while I do not have access to shipping information on specific designs, I can confirm that at least some designs from the days immediately before the Harry Potter shirt are already in the hands of customers. I've seen photos on Twitter of Island Reunion, Zombama Returns, and Troy Story for sure. We're working as fast as we can, folks :)

But if you live in the US, I guess you have a right to be pissed

yup teefury takes forever sometimes to ship orders. some shirts come fast or on time and most others come really really slow
brentron1982said 79 weeks ago
It's not the shipping process that holds things up. It is the printing process. When you order from one of these daily t-shirt sites, you need to understand that they are not pre-printed. It usually takes about 3 weeks from the time you order to the time you receive it. Also, 3-7 days means 3-7 business days and not '3 days to one week'. So hold the animosity. They did nothing wrong.

Congrats on the print!
jacckskellingtonsaid 79 weeks ago

I've come to anticipate a 14-20 day window for shirts to arrive. Like MJ said, they have to print them before they can ship them. These are one of a kind shirts, and good quality at that. You can't rush made-to-order.

it's a type of cheaply made sandwich that is on a hoggie bun(?) or french bread. they are usually verry tasty and rather large for the amount paid. this is why they are called po' boys, because even a poor boy could afford one. i personally like rosted beef the best.
Chuck97034said 79 weeks ago
Good call. Each color means an extra trip though the shop printing. Plus, they are only going to print as many as get sold, so when a shirt goes viral you're looking at an extra lead time due to the fact that tons of people who have never seen the sight are ordering. That a good thing for them and us. You jut have to be patient.
