How's life?
Life is so good. In fact, it's so good, it makes me kind of nervous. I find when I have nothing to complain about, I start looking for things to piss me off. I'm like the first failed Matrix in which everything is perfect, and my mind can't handle it, so I freak out about leaves in my gutters or something equally stupid. But still, life is good.
How many prints have you had so far with Teefury?
I think this one is number 4:

What was your favorite?
My favorite is the Chimp with Glasses. I wear that one all the time, and get a lot of positive feedback on it.
Found any other avenues to get your work out there?
Redbubble has been a nice steady source of paypal fun money that I didn't expect. I have also had a few prints on Ript, and that has been cool.

You got kids. Do they know who the Thundercats are?
After I designed this one I ran it by them and they just stared at me blankly. As they've aged, I have made every effort to expose them to the things I found most awesome as a kid, so, I couldn't believe that I had left out the Thundercats. I sprinted to the computer and put every season on my Netflix queue. As of now, they have not seen any, so I don't know how they'll feel. Some of my favorite things from my youth they love, and some make them realize how lame I must have been as a kid. So, we'll see.
What are kids these days into? Cartoon wise?
In my house Spongebob is on constant rotation. It just never gets old. Also, we started watching Adventure Time from the 1st episode, and were totally hooked. It's weird, funny, and just awesome. If you haven't seen Adventure Time I suggest you do. My older son (11) is TOTALLY in to Futurama. We also watch a lot of iCarly. Spencer makes me LOL a lot. Johnny Test is alright, and Flapjack, and Chowder are OK too. I watch as many cartoons as my kids, and we all have the same taste.
What's your fondest memory growing up?
Disappearing. I lived in a small town in Connecticut, and would leave the house early on Saturday mornings, and not come back until it was dark. Same for Sundays, and every day during summer. My home life was rad, so I wasn't trying to escape anything, but I loved being alone in the woods. I would pretend I was the sole survivor of a plane crash, and just explore, set up camp, make bows and arrows (that never worked) for hours on end. I'd show up at home for dinner covered in mud and my mom would ask, "Did you have fun today?" A simple, "Yup!" was all the detail I would divulge, and she was OK with that.
I would FREAK if I didn't know where my kids were all day. My mom is pretty chill.
What's your favorite food?
Burritos. I think they were invented on the 8th day, when god needed a snack. I read that he had a monkey chef, because regular human chefs hadn't been invented yet. The monkey chef was all, "WTF god, I'm a monkey, not a chef!" So he just threw some random stuff together, and wrapped it up in a tortilla, thinking that it would suck, and god would never make him cook again, but he stumbled onto the food of the heavens, fit for the gods. To this day he's like the monkey Gordon Ramsey of heaven.just runnin' the Holy Kitchen. It's in the bible. I bet he still just wants to be a normal monkey though.
What's your favorite form of entertainment?
Adobe Photoshop is my entertainment form of choice. I'm thinking about selling a lung so I can buy CS5.
We have Playstation 3, but mostly my kids play it, and don't give me a turn, because, "dad, you suck at video games, let me do it!" I do kind of suck, but they still always hand me the controller for difficult jumps. Little kids suck at jumps in video games. It's such a burn.
Hulu, and Netflix are my main form of entertainment during lazy downtime periods.
What websites do you surf often?
Wikipedia. I enjoy getting lost, and learning at the same time. I just read, and follow links to other random interesting crap. I also like, Hulu, Netflix, and all the t-shirts sites.especially Teefury.
Any shout outs?
Thanks to Teefury, and everybody who thinks my goofy shirts are worth buying, and wearing.you rule.
