Not a Thundercats fan, myself, but I would buy the AT AT or Team Zissou in a heartbeat. In fact, my wallet thanks you for not offering them up right now -- but please do, soon.
I loooove Lion-O.. and at first, this totally made me giggle.
But now I'm a teensy bit creeped out by the simple fact that he apparently has no body attached to his head. o_o It's a freakin' floating Lion-O head! EEEK!
The creep factor is almost enough to make me wanna buy it.. if I hadn't already bought two shirts this week. Alas!
Hmm. I like the idea but think the execution is lacking. There needs to be some shoulders or hands showing to really make the aspect of the head appear properly. Also a lighter shirt would have made the hole more apparent. As it is I don't think it stands out well enough.
schuldig said: I feel not many people in NC would get the joke, but I love it nonetheless!/blockquote>
Yeah you're right I have no idea why this is funny.
OMG LOL I almost spat drink out when I saw it T-T Why more awesome shirts?????? I can't afford more T-T *sob* I got my Hello Thunder Kitty tee in the mail today though :DD
I'm kind of surprised by how many like the Little Orphan Ani shirt. It was on teefurycopy a month or so ago, and sold a whopping....wait for it.....it's really kind of funny....24 hours, and it sold....
TedDastickJr said: Will someone PLEASE explain this?
Yeah, I didn't get it either...I'm still not sure I do...too weird for my taste...guess you have to be a Thundercats fan and know about a "ceiling cat" (you can google both). I'd never heard of either before.

so there is a LOLcat famous picture, of the ceiling cat watching people, so he's replaced the lolcat with a thundercat instead
For those (like me) who didn't get it: Google the words: ceiling cat. Then look at the pictures you find there, and then look at the Tee, and hey presto...there ya go. I don't think it's particularly funny so I'll pass. I do like Thundercats though and the side art is pretty coo.
Once the joke was explained to me, yes, it was funny. I just don't know if a t-shirt that requires homework marks it as "too inside" to be really effective. Still, thumbs up for keeping Thundercats on the radar.
How's life?
Life is so good. In fact, it's so good, it makes me kind of nervous. I find when I have nothing to complain about, I start looking for things to piss me off. I'm like the first failed Matrix in which everything is perfect, and my mind can't handle it, so I freak out about leaves in my gutters or something equally stupid. But still, life is good.
What was your favorite?
My favorite is the Chimp with Glasses. I wear that one all the time, and get a lot of positive feedback on it.
Found any other avenues to get your work out there?
Redbubble has been a nice steady source of paypal fun money that I didn't expect. I have also had a few prints on Ript, and that has been cool. http://www.redbubble.com/people/tioem
You got kids. Do they know who the Thundercats are?
After I designed this one I ran it by them and they just stared at me blankly. As they've aged, I have made every effort to expose them to the things I found most awesome as a kid, so, I couldn't believe that I had left out the Thundercats. I sprinted to the computer and put every season on my Netflix queue. As of now, they have not seen any, so I don't know how they'll feel. Some of my favorite things from my youth they love, and some make them realize how lame I must have been as a kid. So, we'll see.
What are kids these days into? Cartoon wise?
In my house Spongebob is on constant rotation. It just never gets old. Also, we started watching Adventure Time from the 1st episode, and were totally hooked. It's weird, funny, and just awesome. If you haven't seen Adventure Time I suggest you do. My older son (11) is TOTALLY in to Futurama. We also watch a lot of iCarly. Spencer makes me LOL a lot. Johnny Test is alright, and Flapjack, and Chowder are OK too. I watch as many cartoons as my kids, and we all have the same taste.
What's your fondest memory growing up?
Disappearing. I lived in a small town in Connecticut, and would leave the house early on Saturday mornings, and not come back until it was dark. Same for Sundays, and every day during summer. My home life was rad, so I wasn't trying to escape anything, but I loved being alone in the woods. I would pretend I was the sole survivor of a plane crash, and just explore, set up camp, make bows and arrows (that never worked) for hours on end. I'd show up at home for dinner covered in mud and my mom would ask, "Did you have fun today?" A simple, "Yup!" was all the detail I would divulge, and she was OK with that.
I would FREAK if I didn't know where my kids were all day. My mom is pretty chill.
What's your favorite food?
Burritos. I think they were invented on the 8th day, when god needed a snack. I read that he had a monkey chef, because regular human chefs hadn't been invented yet. The monkey chef was all, "WTF god, I'm a monkey, not a chef!" So he just threw some random stuff together, and wrapped it up in a tortilla, thinking that it would suck, and god would never make him cook again, but he stumbled onto the food of the heavens, fit for the gods. To this day he's like the monkey Gordon Ramsey of heaven.just runnin' the Holy Kitchen. It's in the bible. I bet he still just wants to be a normal monkey though.
What's your favorite form of entertainment?
Adobe Photoshop is my entertainment form of choice. I'm thinking about selling a lung so I can buy CS5.
We have Playstation 3, but mostly my kids play it, and don't give me a turn, because, "dad, you suck at video games, let me do it!" I do kind of suck, but they still always hand me the controller for difficult jumps. Little kids suck at jumps in video games. It's such a burn.
Hulu, and Netflix are my main form of entertainment during lazy downtime periods.
What websites do you surf often?
Wikipedia. I enjoy getting lost, and learning at the same time. I just read, and follow links to other random interesting crap. I also like, Hulu, Netflix, and all the t-shirts sites.especially Teefury.
Any shout outs?
Thanks to Teefury, and everybody who thinks my goofy shirts are worth buying, and wearing.you rule.

If your gonna make an internet meme reference (which is just a bad idea for a t-shirt IMO) it should be something way more popular than ceiling cat.
