Tell us about this design:
The revolución will be extra crispy!!
Did capitalism win?! Is Ernesto "Che" Guevara still skulking around and trying to bring The Man down from the inside!? Is it a Right wing shirt? Is it a Left wing shirt? NO! It's a Hot Wings shirt! Don't bother with the politics... just dive into the Peoples Potato wedges with a side of Castro Cole Slaw. Buy two and Double Down on la revolución!
Concept by the Genius Steve Lee of Thin-King-Press, Artwork by Sumrow.

How did you find Teefury?
It came to me in a dream...
Do you own a lot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite?
I have a Strong Bad shirt I purchased ten years ago. It's still my fave.
If you could go only to one restaurant for the next five years, which would it be?
India Kitchen here in Albuquerque, best lamb curry on the planet. I do not lie.
What do you like to do for fun?
My wife and I like finding great vinyl records at yard sales. I like watching Horror movies. Building anything with my hands: super sculpey, etc.. Painting on canvas.
What's your art process like, from initial sketch to finished product?
1.) Beer.
2.) LOTS of doodling! The sketchbook is the mother-ship where all things flow from. Period.
3.) Quick drawing of best idea.
4.) Scan drawing and hammer in Photoshop. Photoshop is used to "play" with the idea: scaling, cutting and pasting, collage. Not drawing.
5.) Collect reference material
6.) Print out hammered rough and redraw the idea completely from scratch and from reference. This time making special note of the design discoveries I found in the Photoshop phase.
7.) Work up a complete realized final on paper.
8.) Send back to step 3 if not completely happy.
9.) Project on canvas.... trace... paint it!
10.) Beer.

I don't really think this design is that funny, though. It's not really clever at all. The only thing tying the two references together is the phoneme "ay". Maybe if the text wasn't there and you were left to make the connection yourself based on the images only, it wouldn't be quite as trite. As I said though, I love almost all of the side arts, I would purchase the robots or bacon infinite in a heartbeat.

Reduce your resistance to the one true way,
Increase your capacity to accept enlightenment,
And your induction into the nerdvana is assured.
