People have the right to be offended, please don't try to tell people what they should and shouldn't be offended by. Nobody is telling you not to buy/wear the shirt but if others choose not to because they feel it could be offensive to others, I don't see that's any concern of yours. Half of my family (not myself) are Jewish and I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing this shirt around them.

Not very interesting to me. And I just can't see the humor in it if there's supposed to be any. Am I missing something in the dotted outlines within the hog? I know what part of the pig bacon comes from. Maybe I'm just too stupid to see the attraction.
That said, I do love bacon; one of my absolute favorite flavors of all foods. So anything promoting that is OK with me. Congrats on the printing and I hope that you make a bunch of cash, bringing home the bacon.

Yes, you should grow up. He's not saying people can't be offended, or that people here are wrong/dumb if they're offended, he's saying that you shouldn't let the possibility of offending someone keep you from buying a shirt you like. If it does, whatever. That's up to the individual. But he can still say he doesn't think it should matter, just as you or anyone have the right to -be- offended.

I do love bacon. I wrap stuff in bacon and grill it. Bacon-wrapped brownies on the Big Green Egg is my speciality. I once made chocolate-covered bacon topped with chopped bacon. True story.

I say all of this only to make this point: While I do love bacon, and I would have no qualms about advertising it on a t-shirt, this particular design is a yawner. For reals.

I'm kinda wishing that the diagram wasn't quite so generic. It's a bit too unrelated to the caption for me. Not that I'd buy a shirt about bacon anyways. :P

Having a sense of humor has nothing to do with being grown up. Some of the funniest comics I've seen happen to be Jewish and man, they sure do have the great ability to poke fun at themselves. It's a wonderful world.

I know personally that none of my vegan friends would be offended by this shirt. But to each his own, I don't see the point in arguing it in the forums. I love bacon, but this shirt is just not for me. The diagram is a bit too plain, but it bothers me more that it's not very accurate since bacon actually comes from the pork belly. It seems strange that the diagram just has a big square above it and not an actual shape representing where the bacon comes from. Seems like a missed opportunity.

I have seen that Wife Swap episode with my wife though, haha. That kid was out of control!

@mattheller I hadn't seen the sharingmachine design before, but the diagram is fairly standard/generic for cutting up a pig...just a fan of meat.
