First, I'd like to submit my vote for the Corleone Oranges tee. I would buy that immediately. Second, Great idea! I will have to sleep on this one, though.

yeah, i didn't mean to get anyone worked up. it's just that a great portion of tees on teefury are references to something.

hi, um, this is my design.
I designed it for anothersite several years ago, and i gave this version to a now defunct company called shirt stain. however, by selling the design one-time to them 9and now they are out of business) that does not give them the rights to them use the shirt at another company to get paid from my design again. Do you have any evidence, sketches or something from back then? I don't mean to sound rude, but if you did have evidence, you could easily point out that this is, in fact, your design and teefury would have to do something about it. I'm just saying, not taking sides.
Anyway, not a big fan of zombies but the idea is funny. For everyone who is wondering if the Star Wars -design got printed or not, use the Gallery!

Are you kidding me? Firstly, nobody in their right mind would call someone out for selling their design if it didn't belong to them in the first place and secondly:
Words from jimiyo: Sean Kirkpatrick is a businessman. You can tell by the terseness of his answers, and the as-matter-of-factly way of delivery. Sean owns a screen printing company and many designs by other artists which he is planning for his apparel line. Today's design is owned by Sean, but designed by Travis Pitts
You missed your chance. Teefury had it for sale already. Although some artists have their own websites but their shirt prices are 3x as much for the same shirt.
it was my understanding that with the contract between me and sean that the design was his to print and sell on his own site. i have no problem helping struggling artists and budding businessmen because i am one myself. however, this is a sale of my design to another party outside of sean's own production company.
I'm trying to get to the bottom of it but have yet to hear back from Sean or teefury. i'm a little disappointed, but patient for a reply.
toastpost said: seen it before, it'd be better if it were celebrities zombified (Alec Baldwin, Bill Murray, lady gaga, etc)
agreed!!!
Disagree . . . I think the anonymity adds way more character and charm to the design, and actually works perfectly with the tag line. Great work, Sean!
But luckily, Duane died in Iran, fighting for his country...those terrorists never expected him to get back up and unload a Radio Flyer wagonfull of zombie payback on them.
Travis should be given a significant portion of the proceeds, as per sean's contract with him.. Or the design needs to be taken down and not sold.
Just my personal opinion. Nobody wants legal issues.
meow Im not going to buy this. Its cool but it may look like a bill board message to me. Otherwise I like the zombie list especially since Ugly Americans had an episode about Zombies hahaha

Hi Travis- We're also working to get to the bottom of this. This has been an unexpected situation, but once some key people are in the office we should have more information.

And I don't/didn't read description(s) nor interview(s) so I missed that. There are some 8 billion people in this planet and trust me, there is always one person who would do that (= claim something is theirs when it's not).
No need to get upset, this is just my opinion :) I am not in the mood for arguing over something as silly as this, since this doesn't even concern the two of us.

pretty sure we've seen enough of that. there's already been a few "famous beards" and other similar themes, it's good that there's some non-specific zombies out there! that being said, I'd have liked to have seen this in a less-humorous light - more of a propaganda style, possibly for a dummy organisation for the maintained rights of the undead. something like PETA or Greenpeace would do if zombies became endangered.
I really like zombie genre stuff and this shirt is a really neat idea just need a little more development. Yes, they were people but so what? What's the catch what makes this shirt stand out from the others? I would love to see this design again but with a little more effort. Great idea though!!!

We've been discussing this issue with both Travis, the artist, and Sean, who bought the printing rights to this piece (and the others shown in the sidebar). We're doing our best to ensure that the situation is resolved in a way that is fair to everyone involved.

Firstly, your reply means you are arguing, secondly, if you'd read the inscription then there would have been no need to call Trav out, thirdly what good would making a fake account and claiming it's their design without proof do and lastly I'm a fellow artist friend of Trav's so yes, it does concern me somewhat.

English is not my first language, so I make mistakes. I also mistype sometimes. If you can not stick to the point, please don't say anything :) And oh, please correct your own grammatical mistakes before trying to correct other people's grammar.
I only argue with people who are smart enough to realise that arguing over grammar or how many people are there on the planet is a waste of time. You are not one of those people, clearly, so please don't talk to me ever again :)
Wow, all my comments were deleted, except for one where I get disciplined for using adult language.
So the corleone design that everyone is emphatic about belongs to Ollirudi.
Hopefully trav got compensated after selling this design for next-to-nothing in order to help some guy out with his "new" shirt business, which eventually fell threw. If he runs any of the other artist's designs, I hope they are also compensated or at least contacted. It's about respect.

We posted it on Facebook, and a large majority of you preferred this design over an asian art design, so here it is!
How long have you been in the apparel industry? Since
April ‘03 How has it changed in the last few years?
Once I got my auto, it was smooooooth sailing. Pulling a squeegee by hand
all day is for the dogs. What was the coolest trend you have seen? (or shirt)
I’m still sold on the Hypercolor shirts from the 80’s What was the most idiotic trend or shirt you have seen?
I don’t think any shirt is idiotic. If a design goes to print, its
because somewhere-somehow…someone thought it was awesome. Who am I
to judge? What apparel line do you look up to? I don’t
have a favorite. I used to be all anal and run to the mall and check out
all the new looks. Now, I don’t bother…trends come and go as
often as I change my underwear.
