A word from the curator:
How do they work?
Tell us a bit about this design.
Hello. I wanted to do something that would get you noticed. I was exploring Illustrative techniques and wanted to do something loose yet precise, and I had been thinking about what makes something or someone attractive therefore the theme of magnetism seemed an apt subject choice. I did an initial sketch and then reworked it in illustrator.
Where are you from?
Originally I’m from a moon called Kingston-Upon-Thames, which orbits London.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
That I really appreciate the support and I think its a lovely community.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
er... that I genuinely like some... Steven Seagal Movies!
Name a few of your favorite things.
Sunny days. Quavers. When you can tell who’s approaching from the sound of their footsteps on a staircase. Films. When people say thank you after you’ve held a door open for them. Cheese. Home. A smile...
What are your feelings about dreams?
‘Rem’s’ or the ‘strive to become’ kind? When I was little my brother and I slept in bunk beds. I had a dream most nights that I was getting eaten by a crocodile in a swamp and my brother had dreams that he was being killed by a Dalek. We swapped bunks so that I was on the top bunk, where the croc couldn’t get me, and so my brother went on the bottom bunk where the Daleks couldn’t reach down to him... There’s a parable in there somewhere!
Would you rather write a book or have a book written about you?
I’d rather write a screenplay. I book of my work/doodles one day would be nice though!
Originals vs. remakes: which would win the battle?
It depends on the time span between them and if there’s anything new to add, improve or say in their subtext. Some work, some don’t. The Remake of ‘The Thing’ (1982) is still absolutely amazing! But I’m not sure why they remade films like ‘Psycho’. I’m not sure about remaking European films straight away for English speaking audiences either. Remakes seem a little lazy, but maybe all the good ideas have indeed been done! Money is indeed the key! Because of The Thing I’m gonna say remakes win the battle but we’ll see who wins the war!
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I’ve got one that has a kind of a Robot Tiger Mask which is a lovely contemporary 2 colour on Navy. I just like it. I used to have a Tee with the poster for the film ‘The Big Wednesday’ on the back but it weathered and died.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Movies. Too many to mention but I’ll have to watch The Thing again now.
What inspires your work?
A sprinkle of everything, Coffee, Neurons!

Not really loving... a magnet. It does look good on a shirt, though.
