Same here. I "get" the Clockwork Orange reference, by why the skeleton, paint can and "BAM"? People will look at it with a biiiiiiig question mark on their faces. Might as well just get a real Clockwork Orange shirt.
swtexan39said 89 weeks ago
People don't have to "get" it... if you like the design, buy it. Wear it. Do it.

I don't get it and I don't like it so I won't be wearing it 'cause I ain't gonna buy it. Not gonna do it.

I thinks he was referring to the Full Metal Jacket shirt...

Another daily shirt site had one up recently.

Omg. I almost spit my coffee out.
What a great take on "A Clockwork Orange" Artwork. With the grafitti touch, spray can. Amazing.
Gotta go.Bit of pain in the gulliver, Furians. Leave us be and I'll try to sleep it off... then I'll be as right as dodgers for this after.

Hope I wasn't broke... at least for the next couple days. Props to the designer!

I guess he's talking about two Kubrick's references? Full Metal Jacket and A Clockwork Orange... dunno.

...You can't really blame the artist for making such uninspired work, though...if people are going to keep buying these sorts of pieces then for KHAAAAAAAN sure they'll keep making 'em.
AlejoVoltasaid 89 weeks ago
You make a good point in that you shouldn't be concerned about how well the shirt is received amongst the people you kick it with but I still think it's an important part of self-expression to have other people get what you're trying to say by wearing the shirt. We have ideas of who we are because we know ourselves but other people only know us by our words and actions. Wearing a shirt is a bold and upfront act of individualism (sometimes). You're wearing a statement and you want people to see it, that's why you're wearing it. If the statement is weak and shallow, then you take the risk of making yourself look like a fool.

Thanks for sharing your work with us. To be blunt, I don't really dig this piece. I'm sure you're capable of better, more creative designs. But nonetheless, congratulations on getting it curated.
Doom is my all-time favorite villain and I'd definitely like to see something serious (and possibly a little dark) involving that character. I'm sure that most of the T-fury community would agree.
