Usually I am all over all things Boba Fett... BUT, the pixels are a little too sloppy for me and I would have liked to see it on a smaller scale with the whole level on the shirt..
i was so totally down to buy this when i saw the sneak preview. Then I saw how close it was zoomed in on the shirt. would be better if it was a whole section of a level and the Fett man is fighting against jedi's or han solo's
Absolutely amazing. You have managed to combined two things that are loved dearly by most nerds, like myself. Chances are, if you are a Star Wars fan, then you are a fan of some version of Mario. This shirt tugs on my heart strings like new born babies and Toto. God bless you, good sir.
Bought it, who cares if my bank account is under 10 bucks now and I already bought a Boba shirt from tee fury a few months ago, can't have enough of the ole Fett man, even though he did wanna hurt my main man Han.
In for one. Awesome design. Saw the sneak peek in my email and couldn't wait to buy something that proudly displays two of my favorite passions, gaming ans Star Wars. Oh yeah, and wearing clothes. That's a favorite of mine too.
Contrary to popular belief, some of us would spend a lot more money on Teefury, if every other shirt wasn't a lame Star Wars reference. Please mix it up more, it's getting to the point where I don't even feel the need to check the site everyday because I know it's going to be a shirt of "Darth Vader on the toilet" or "Yoda riding a Segway".
There are a ton of other nerd properties and ideas to work with, you don't have to accept every smuuuuuurf "Boba Fett pets a kitten" shirt design you guys get.
Love the concept. Just wish it had cleaner control of the "pixels". Crooked lines and areas that are too general kinda' kill the effect for me. Still plenty of time to think about it, though...
If you can't post respectfully, you will be banned.
What's wrong with wanting to make some money off of something you love? I wish I were able to do that.
Saying that MJ has no artistic vision? I think she finds some great stuff things to print for Teefury and in my opinion is a very creative artist. Not to mention one of the great, nicer people I've met on the internet.
I love this shirt. I love wacky shirts. I love artistic shirts.
But not every single one in each of those categories.
(Otherwise, I'd not be able to afford rent, food and soap! :o)
If either of you would like to chat, hey. I'm up for it.
Hit me up elsewhere than on the front page.
It's fun to talk to people. We're all different. That's what makes the human race so amazing.
On an even brighter note, the armored warrior is my favorite of the amazing side art.
Does this artist have a web page or flickr or somewhere else to check out more great illustrations?
Hey Everyone, I'm glad everyone likes my first shirt design for Teefury.com I'm hoping that this is the 1st of many designs that get accepted. To answer a few questions I do have a website. I have added to my profile: Http://www.mankindram.com. Thanks for all the kind comments and I look forward to being part of this community.
was a big fan of the designs that TeeFury had to offer, so when a particularly awesome Lost shirt was up, I did not hesitate to purchase it. This was in February. I still have not received the shirts or the refund and TeeFury no longer responds to my e-mails. I'm afraid this will be the first of many comments on this issue from me. Maybe someone will finally help me out.

You too Teefury, I know you take into consideration every post people makes and it's cool as heck taht you are interested in what people think but, you shouldn't mind the poepl who don't appreciate good art (and quality shirts, of course) you keep doing your thang and we'll keep on backing you up 8D
This is possibly the greatest shirt yet seen on Teefury! Bought! Also, how awesome would the ACTUAL video game be??? I mean, just imagine it???? Congratulations to the artist... Keep up the good work.
I love it! Be really cool if Jango was in it since they are all clones they are more brothers than Father and son! At any rate DISHES are done MAN! Bought and paid! GOOD HUNTING!

Darth Vader on the Toilet and Yoda riding a Segway... I would buy.
I love the combination, but with the way finances are right now, it's not quite awesome enough to warrant a purchase. Sadly, I haven't seen any super awesome ones (for my tastes, that is) since before summer.. :(

Seriously? I just looked in the Gallery, and as far as I noticed (could have missed a few) there have been 7 SW shirts since the beginning of July. That's about 7/90. Sure, it's a large percentage, but it's only like 1 in 13. One Star Wars shirt in nearly every 2 weeks, on average. But I'm sure if you're certain that everyday the new shirt will be Star Wars inspired, facts and logic won't do much to change your mind. Have a great day. ;)
Like a previous commenter said, the pixels are sloppy as hell, and it really doesn't make any sense. It's just two references that have no relation to each other. I can't believe how much praise there is for this design.

Then don't buy it.
But why spend the time & energy to say something negative?
Does a super-fine, precise line *only* make it "art"?
I like the pixilation. Makes it more 1977.
I love STAR WARS.
I love Mario Kart on the wii.
I don't buy every STAR WARS shirt but this one is fantastic!!
I am so Torn... I love me the Fett... But I REALLY Want that CHE shirt from the Sneak Peak Email.... If these shirts would have been a month apart I woulda purchased Both for sure!

I spent the time and energy because I saw a disproportionate amount of praise for what I feel to be a crappy buy. I figured the opposing viewpoint should be heard.
Precise lines would indicate that the artist actually knows what they are doing, in terms of being able to draw straight lines and emulate the work they are referencing, and knowing that sloppy pixels aren't "more 1977" because pixels have always been pixels, not sloppy polygons.

its art u may not see it that way but in the creators eyes it is art u can not grade someone on art because u are not them and are not looking at it thru their eyes
Darn it! i missed this one because my power went out for over 24 hours! now its back on and i missed it :( anyone have an extra 2XL they would sell me? I am soooo sad...

I never said it wasn't art. It is art. But it is sloppy art. I can go look at the art he is trying to reference, and see that he did a poor job emulating it.
A word from the curator: What if two of every kid's heroes were actually the same guy?
Tell us a bit about this design. Well this design came from a love of old school Nintendo Games and I mean original 8-bit Nintendo and Star Wars. One night sitting at dinner I made a joke to my wife about doing some drawings in this style and she loved this particular idea. Where are you from? I'm from Levittown, NY. Long island to be exact. What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you? That I am a very dedicated artist who loves his craft. To have this shirt made is really something I'm very excited about! I have done work for www.garykeithandron.com, which is a site for former NY Mets Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling along with Gary and Lynn Cohen to help feed the hungry in NY. Some other places you can see my work is in Star Wars Galaxy Series 5 from Topps Entertainment and a UK based magazine called Cereal:Geek, which is dedicated to cartoons of the 80s. What do you absolutely not want them to find out? That I have an un-natural fear of dolls LOL. Child's play is the scariest movie I have ever watched in my life. Ventriloquist dummies scare the life out of me too! Name a few of your favorite things. Action Figures, Masters of the Universe, Professional Wrestling, Comic Books and Cartoons What are your feelings about sports? Love Hockey and Baseball, hate Football and Soccer. Would you rather teach or learn? I would rather learn first, then maybe teach what I have learned to someone else! Dragons vs. dinosaurs: which would win the battle? Dragons, hands down! Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much. My Futurama Bender shirt with him saying his famous quote "Bite my shiny metal a@$!" Most pictures of me from comic cons have me wearing this shirt. I like it because it is comfortable and well has Bender on it! Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium. Watching Movies - Spaceballs, hands down the funniest and smartest slapstick comedy out there. What inspires your work? My wife, mother and friends. Without their support I would be pushing hardware at our local hardware store still. Any shout outs? A few: Samantha and Mom - Without you two, I would not be where I am, nor have been brave enough to try. Nate, Jeff, Joe and Kevin - Without these guys, my artwork would have no meaning and be full of mistakes.
