Tell us about your design:
I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan and I love each and every character of this story. My personal favorite of all times is the misunderstood and under appreciated Stormtroopers. I find this character to be quite interesting. A couple of months ago I watched (for the third time) Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket" and thought about this particular dialog of the movie:

Pogue Colonel: You write "Born to Kill" on your helmet and you wear a peace button. What's that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke?
Private Joker: No, sir.
Pogue Colonel: You'd better get your head and your a** wired together, or I will take a giant sh*t on you.
Private Joker: Yes, sir.
Pogue Colonel: Now answer my question or you'll be standing tall before the man.
Private Joker: I think I was trying to suggest something about the duality of man, sir.
Pogue Colonel: The what?
Private Joker: The duality of man. The Jungian thing, sir.

So I thought "what if a cloned/mass produced being also has this thoughts on the duality of his existence?" and this is what came out.

Tell us about yourself:
Bolivian, designer, married two kids one in the oven (due in December :oD) Loves my wife and kids, loves music ans absoeffingluetly LOVE designing.

Where are you located?
Cochabamba, Bolivia. Just in case you wonder, my country is located in the exact heart of South America, our closest neighbours are Brasil, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile and Peru.

What's a day in the life of Daniel like?
right now just the usual, by day I'm a 7:30 to 4:30 graphic designer and by nights I become D4N13L, a giant color marker who fights his nemesis, the evil Dr. Mono Chromos who wants to take the color off of the world and reign in grayscaled chaos. So for I've doing good :)

What other interests do you have?
My main interest is to find out the meaning of life and what does a double (almost triple) rainbow means (???)

If you could go only to one restaurant for the next five years, which
would it be?
My wife and I love a roasted chicken here, the name of the place is "El Pollito Popular" (The Popular Little Chicken), they have most delicious home-made mayonnaise of the entire galaxy!

What do you like to do for fun?
I like chasing cars the thing is I don't really know what to do with them once I get them. And of course there's always a good movie with some ice cream, just chilling with the wifey.

Have you ever had to get stitches? Any battle scars?
Once I cut my knee when I was like 12 and got 5 stitches and there are, of course all my battle scars from my evil fighting adventures, Dr. Mono Chromos doesn't play fair at all.

What was your first printed commercial piece of artwork?
"Guntree" those awesome guys at Design By Hümans did it. Actually it's been reprinted and available here

What skills do you think one should have to be a good tshirt designer?
I don't really know, I think my strategy is to think whatever I would like to wear and people would go "wow, that's a cool shirt!". My advice, just go crazy.

Tell us about your favorite food.
Pique Macho, I don't really know there's a translation for that. It consists of chopped roasted meat, chopped roasted sausage, big chunks of fried potatoes, boiled eggs, a couple of sliced tomatos and onions and a LOT of the hottest chilies one can find. Yummy, yummy in my tummy! (I'm hungry now)

MAC or PC?
I can use both, LOVES MAC I would have one if I could afford one :'( PCs do have their things and work as well as MACs but MAC it's just MAC.

Recommend a product:
Samsung 22" LCD monitor, Wacom tablets and the Barret .50cal tactical sniper rifle (you never know when the Zombie Apocalypse can come and I'd rather be prepared than have mine and my family's brains eaten)
