I've seen your stuff printed everywhere. What's your latest victory?
I'm happy to say that I have an upcoming print at Design By Humans. It's been more than a year since my design "Star Wolf" got printed. So I'm pretty exited for this new print! And it's also gonna be one of my first over-sized print! Can you guess witch one it's gonna be?
How has your career changed in the last two years?
I just finish my bachelor in graphic design and on the same day my first illustrated book was published. So it's was an amazing day.
Any new direction or hopes for the next few years?
I'll keep doing t-shirt design but I will also focus more on the publishing business, having a book you illustrated is so cool! As for the moment, I only have french books published, I'm looking forward to see my stuff being publish in the english canada and/or in the u.s.
Why are you an artist?
I love being my own boss! But I'm a tough one, I always work more that I should. But being able to make a living out of illustration is a dream job for me.
What's a day in the life of RecycledWax like?
Waking up when I can (I'm not a morning person), checking the bunch of emails I received over the night, checking facebook and t-shirt design websites, making coffee, drinking coffee, making another coffee, drinking it, then start drawing or working on stuff until 7.p.m, then open a bottle of wine and watch a movie (and sometimes drawing while watching it).
Do you own alot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite?
Way too much! When you're in the t-shirt industry it's addictive! My friends loves it because every two months I go thought my t-shirt and I give them the one I'm bored of wearing. I must say that my favorite one is a simple one, it's called Dead Pirate by Mc bess, it's was a Select at Threadless .
If you could go only to one restaurant for the next five years, which would it be?
Subways, I know it's boring, but it's a good fast lunch.
What do you like to do for fun?
Read books and watch movies.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
Travel everywhere, this year I went to Iceland, England and New York. It was amazing!
MAC or PC?
Any shout outs?
Check out my friend Amanda's portfolio. She's awesome!
