Where are you located? London, UK
What's a day in the life of Matt like?
It's an amazing rollercoaster jet-set lifestyle, which looks suspiciously like me staring at a computer screen all day - sometimes I sleep.
If you could go only to one restaurant for the next five years, which would it be?
A japanese one probably, I love Yakisoba and Katsu Curry, although not both at the same time.
How did you get your start in art?
I've been drawing since I can remember, I'm still trying to figure out how to turn it into a full-time job though.
What's your art process like, from initial sketch to finished product?
It varies from piece to piece but most of the time I'll start with reference images, a biro sketch and then Photoshop / Illustrator over the top. A lot of sugar and caffeine also helps.
Name your top three favorite movies:
Star Trek II: The Wrath of
Kahn, Gattaca and Howl's Moving Castle - Tron is also awesome but just a
little further down the list!
What moment of the movie do you remember the most of one of your favorite movies?
The line in Gattaca - 'I was never more certain of how far away I was from my goal than when I was standing right beside it.'
2012. End of the World? Or just a really bad movie?
If it's the end of the world then I really have a lot of stuff I still need to do.
Do you think we will live on the Moon?
If Sam Rockwell has taught me anything, it's that living on the Moon is a bad idea.
MAC or PC? MAC and PC, I'm building bridges.

Is posting "first" really that pernicious to the overall discussion? Teevil was doing it for a while there along with the "first" crowd.

If it was one post a night it wouldn't be terrible. But it's never one post- it's multiple people sometimes trying multiple times to post some variation on "first." When the actual discussion of the shirt is pushed halfway down the page, that's not too cool either for us as a site or for the artist.
