Teefury

Where are you located?
I live in Rensselaer, NY with my wife, son and two wonderfully lazy pugs.

What's been going on in your life since your last print at Teefury?
My last Teefury print was back in March of '09 so there's been a lot happening. My wife gave birth to our first child in November and since then, life has been an awesome whirlwind of new experiences. I've also had a couple of tees printed at other sites and did some freelance work for the tremendously talented singer/songwriter Mike Doughty. It's all gravy!

Tell us how you got the idea for this design?
This idea was a spin-off of a Threadless submission that I did more than three years ago. Since then, I've been tinkering with it - adding more historical figures who sported beards and changing up the wording and style of the text a few times. I'm really happy with how this design finally turned out.

Any new projects you working on?
I've got a few in the hopper. I've been thinking about starting a 365 challenge where I hand draw a positive word on a post-it note. Aside from that, I'm always thinking of new tee designs.

What's your favorite shirt in your closet?
Tough one. Forgive the self promo here, but my one and only print from Tilteed - Song Bird - is probably my current favorite tee

What are you top three favorite movies?
Argh! What's with all the tough questions? Alright, in no particular order, here are my top three favorite movies:

1: PCU
2: The Great Outdoors
3: The Last Waltz

Any quote from them you find particularly memorable?
There's simply too many to count. How can you choose between the scene in The Great Outdoors when John Candy shoots the bear in the ass with the lamp gun and The Band performing "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down"?

MAC or PC?
I use a Mac at work and a PC at home but I gotta give it up to my Mac. My G4 has never let me down.

To iPhone or not to iPhone?
I don't own one and don't care to. I use my LG Dare for calls, text, email, Facebook and Twitter and works just fine.

Any words of wisdom regarding anything?
Yes.
