Once this childhood favorite was starving for food... but now he's starving for peace!

Tell us the background of this design.
I loved the very hungry caterpillar as a kid. I distinctly remember seeking out this book because I simply loved the idea of this bug munching it's way through an abundance of food. This character and concept is an icon - so I decided to parody the work by replacing the food with bombs. The bombs made sense because of their shape and colour. The message I am communicating is simple - all bombs should be eaten!

Ludwig van Beethoven - even turning deaf did not stop this man!!

Stripes - I had striped everything as a young boy - it was the 70s man!
