It's funny, but I feel like the print makes the shirt look like any other shirt -- and that from afar, the colors wouldn't really suit a person very well (light gray on dark gray)
I maybe shouldn't find this as funny as I do, but the little kid in me finds this to be pretty hilarious. I'm also going to DC soon so this is perfect timing. I really like the shirt color, and I don't have any charcoal shirts.
sidebar: what's going on in the last piece of sideart? is there something i'm not noticing? if it's just supposed to get the creative juicing flowing in people's minds, then job well done.
Lincoln's just getting back for the shaving cream incident of last week...
Artist Location:
Leeds, UK
Tell us about this design:
I've always thought there'd be one hell of a party at Mount Rushmore, but as with all great parties... I feel sorry for the guy who'd fall asleep first.
Tell us about yourself:
I'm a graphic design student currently flirting with the idea of designing tshirts for a living. I live in my head a little too much, and like to draw when I'm not feeling lazy.
Name a few of your favorite things:
Kung fu films, cereal, smoothies and board games.
Do you own a lot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite?
It's pretty hard to choose a favourite because I own so many tees, but my most worn tee has to be my Threadless select "Once upon a Time..." by a guy called Michael C Place, simply because it's such a simple graphic and people seem to love seeing a talking foot on my chest.
What Inspires you?
Pretty much anything. I'm obsessed with other languages and cultures so I tend to integrate all sorts of inspirations into my work, but most of the time I just like designs to be simple, straightforward and fun.
How did you get into art?
I can't really remember, alot of it probably comes down to being pushed in school (or by my parents) to do more creative stuff, but it's always felt like something I just ended up doing.

Also, that Aardvark side art makes me think of that Arthur cartoon when they had the spelling bee and Arthur is going around singing "A-A-R-D-V-A-R-K"
